A/N- edit: yay, 300 views!
I am at the ice cream shop where Aaron took me out on our first date. I ordered my self a waffle cone with a single scoop of cookies and cream ice cream. This is my first time ever cutting class. I pulled out my phone from my back pocket, a lot of my 'friends' have blocked me.
I saw posts on Twitter that said 'Jessica's mom is locked up' or 'Jessica's mom is a slut'. It made me so sad. I hate the feeling of when people laugh at me. I don't like being wrong, and when people laugh at me, I feel that way.
I snapped out of my day-dreaming when I heard a familiar voice. It was Kaylan, I honestly didn't want to see her right now. She did the same thing as I did: Ordered ice cream, sat down, looked at her phone, got sad, and started to day-dream. It kind of shocked me how much similar we are.
I turned over to look at her, "Hi," I muttered. "Hi," she replied in a low tone.
...
It's a Saturday afternoon, I've been crying in bed all day. I felt horrible, everything was just getting worse and worse. It feels like there's no way of getting out of this, like it will always continue.
Kaylan called my phone, I let it ring a few times because I honestly don't care. When I picked up, Kaylan actually sounded a tad bit happy, "I found more evidence!" Kaylan approached in a rush.
"What?"
" When I was going to get a tub of ice cream from Walmart, I saw Liam across the street! I was pretty far away so I zoomed in on my camera phone and took a picture."
"Well that's great but creepy," I replied. "I'm coming over right now," Kaylan demanded before she ended the call.
...
15 minutes have passed and Kaylan is currently at my house, she came prepared with a backpack that included: the notebook, glue-sticks, pictures, washi tape, markers, stickers, and gems.
We finished pasting everything in the notebook and it was completely filled. Every single picture had a caption and the time it was taken. Now we had one thing to do, take the book to the police station. I'm feeling very nervous."You know what we have to do next Jessie," Kaylan said. I gave her an agreeing look and she motioned me to follow her.
We took the elevator down to the lobby and walked out of the building. What if Liam knows what we're doing? Negative thoughts rushed through my mind, but I tried to keep them out as much as possible.
Kaylan took out the keys to her shiny black car and unlocked it. I opened the passenger seat and buckled my seat-belt as Kaylan twisted the key to start the car. "Here we go," I said unenthusiastically.
"To the police department," Kaylan added.
...
Kaylan and I walked up to a police officer's desk and put the notebook down. "This book has evidence that Liam Timothy, is not dead," Kaylan approached.
"And if you were wondering, we're not conspiracy theorist," I added not trying to be sarcastic at all. The woman studied us and then the book for a good 7 minutes. "This seems very valid girls, but I need to study this some more, and contact my co-workers about it because I can't only use my judgement."
We both nodded our heads and walked out of the police station. I feel like I just took a lot of weight of my shoulders. Kaylan unlocked her car doors, we sat in it.
I realized the car was starting to smoke, it all started with a big bang. And then, right before my eyes, the car exploded.
A/N- Cliffhanger! I really need to stop waiting until late at night to publish these chapters! I hope you guys liked it. Any Big Bang Theory fans out there?
