Jonah's POV

The doorbell rang, its chime echoed through the house enough for me to shoot out of my chair and rush to the door. I looked behind me to see the boys straightening their jackets and putting their wallets in their pockets. Opening the door, I saw Mikayla looking up at me in her matching pajamas, keys and phone in hand.

"Hi Jonah, hey guys. Why are you so dressed up? Aren't you watching the movie with us?" Mikayla closed the door behind her and followed me to our friends.

"We were but we made reservations at Cheesecake a while back but Jonah had already called you for a movie night," Jack said.

"Unfortunately, malady, tonight you will not be graced with our presence." Corbyn took a dramatic bow and grinned at her.

"Aw, that's okay, I can go home."

"No, it's okay, Jonah took responsibility and now he's going to stay here with you. We already had a band meeting." Daniel replied.

"Are you sure?" Mikayla asked.

"Yeah, we already got all set up and everything so if you said no that'd be a real shame." I chuckled, scratching the back of my neck.

"Okay, fine. When is the reservation?"

"It's at 6:45, we're gonna walk around the Grove a bit and then go to dinner. We were about to leave but we wanted to say bye to you first," Corbyn responded.

Mikayla gave them a goofy smile. "Aw, you guys are such cheeseballs."

Corbyn let out a little laugh. "Cheeseballs?"

"Yeah, you're all cheesy as all hell."

"Whatever you say Mik...ey," Jack grinned.

"That was just bad," Mikayla snorted.

"I guess you could say-" Jack started.

"Don't you fucking dare Avery," Daniel warned.

"It was cheesy," Jack sputtered out between laughs.

Daniel facepalmed and groaned in frustration, "I'll just wait in the car, you guys got two minutes to get there. Corbyn, you're driving and I call shotgun." He mumbled a goodbye to Mikayla and I before clomping out of the door.

"I guess that's our cue, see you guys later," Zach gave a lazy wave and ran out the door.

"Don't do anything stupid while we're gone," Jack yelled as he followed Zach.

"How can we? You're taking all the stupid with you," I laughed.

Corbyn loosed a breathy laugh. "Bye Mik, I'll see you guys tonight." He leaned closer to me and lowered his voice. "Be safe." Corbyn gave the two a final wave before escorting himself out the door, keys jingling in his palm.

I turned to Mikayla and lead her to the fridge. "We made popcorn, both sweet and salty, plus gummy bears and..." I reached towards the back of the fridge and pulled out a white box. "I had to hide these to make sure the boys didn't get to these." I opened the box to reveal chocolate frogs. "They have strawberries inside," I smiled sheepishly.

"No way, they look so good."

"Just wait until you see the fort, master architect Corbyn Matthew Besson built it himself."

"Well what are we waiting for, let's go." Mikayla rushed up the stairs.

I grinned and rolled my eyes. Balancing all the food in my arms, I carefully followed her up the stairs.

Mikayla opened the door slowly, her eyes welling up with wonder and astonishment. "It's so pretty! Look, fairy lights, they look so beautiful." She exclaimed, taking in her surroundings.

I made a mental note to thank Daniel later for the tip.

"This was totally worth driving in pajamas and people looking at me like I was crazy."

I chuckled. "Well, let's start the marathon, shall we." I set down the snacks and popped in the first disc before plopping down next to Mikayla.

The fort was big enough for both of us to sit or lay down shoulder to shoulder. Me and Mikayla each held a bowl of popcorn on our laps. The movie started to play. Each time a movie ended, I got up to change the disc.

After the fourth movie, the snacks disappeared and my arm hung on Mikayla's shoulder while her head rested on my chest.

Third Person POV

As the clock rung midnight, Jonah and Mikayla slept on the fort floor, the TV playing the end credits. Zach opened the door of the house and tiptoed in. After waving that the coast was clear, the rest of the boys followed.

Daniel scratched his head. "Weird, you would think there would be some noise."

"Right, who wants to go check in on the lovebirds?" Corbyn closed the door and gently placed the bag of leftovers and cheesecake slices in the fridge.

"Zach?" Jack suggested.

"What, no! I'm too young to see that," Zach exclaimed.

"Fine, I'll go." Daniel rolled his eyes and walked up the steps with near silent footsteps. Daniel gently opened the door, careful to not to make a sound as he slid into the room. "Sleeping," He whispered at the entrance. He waved in the rest of the boys.

"Aww, they look so adorable," Zach whispered.

"Wanna take pictures?" Jack said quietly.

"Is that even a question?" Corbyn raised an eyebrow at Jack and grinned.

Soon, all of the boys had whipped out their phones and were taking pictures of their sleeping friends.

"Quick, c'mon, I think one of them moved," Jack warned.

Corbyn turned off the TV, while Daniel draped a blanket over them.

Zach waved out the boys and quietly shut the door. "We are so using these later."

"Agreed," Jack replied with a mischievous grin.

Corbyn rolled his eyes, "Alright, that's enough. Time for bed." He swung open his door,

"Night, guys."

A chorus of goodnights followed, along with the click of doors being shut.
