He arches an eyebrow and looks up.

I get to one knee and take out the double swords again.

This time, don't press the double buttons...

I stand up and heard a loud crack from my lower back.

I wince slightly before turning my head to the side, eyes shut.

I open them again and focus on the footsteps.

They sound heavy, like their wearing metal boots.

Suddenly, they stop. They stopped right in front of the door.

Do they know?

I turn my head towards the man and give him a look that says 'what is this?'.

Then the man shouted up the stairs. "We're down here!"

My eyes widen, I shoot up from my position and cover his mouth with my hand.

"mmmnfnf" he tries to speak. "shut up..." I whisper.

It's a little late to be saying that now, but there is still a chance the person didn't hear him...

Then I hear the door swing open. There are careful footsteps coming down the stairs. I remove my hand and get into a fighting stance.

"Darling, this might be a good time to tell you I am a married man"

I look back at him and just glare. He smirks before turning on his heel and walking towards a corner of the room.

The steps reach the end of the stairs and the figure visibly hesitates. He's scared...good.

He takes a step forward and I can see the golden boots, along with his clunky golden armor. Just like the guards in the tower.

He comes out of the stairway and stops when he sees me.

"Take another step...I dare you" I trail off.

"I have no intention of hurting you...Y/N" He walks slowly towards me, his armor making loud clanging noises"

I tip my head to the side. I never told them my name. Loki wouldn't have told them... would he?

"No, he wouldn't love" He smiles. I turn my head towards the man in the corner. He smiles and waves.

"You mother-"
"Woh, woh, woh little one. I can assure you, it was not me who told the man" he smiled. "You did"

I turn my attention back to the man in the golden armor. All of a sudden a ball of fluff and feathers comes running down the stairs at full speed.

"Zenix?" I put the swords down and pick him up. I smile and put him under my chin petting him.

"Oh hello there buddy, I've missed you" If he's here then...

"Im impressed Loki, you had me fooled there. You were a terrible guard though"  I say putting Zenix down.

"Well you certainly believed it" he smiled.

The illusion faded into his normal attire. I smiled and walked up to him.

"I hate to admit it, but I missed you and your tricks." I smiled.

He smirked and leaned closer to me. "I knew I would grow on you, aaaand I sort of, kind of, maybe missed you a little bit also"

"Aww does the big bad trickster have a heart?" I tease.

"No, it's just... I need your help getting off this stupid planet" he looked away.

"Well, now that this beautiful moment is done, we need to get to work" The man interrupted.

"Before I start...I want to know your name"

He smiled "My name is Richard...Richard Rider. But you can call me Nova."
