Tomorrow CP:20

When the time is right, I will reign upon this world with such fire, the heavens will feel the flames.

Their world will burn and suffer like I did. They will all know the pain I have felt. I, a once powerful yourshiesk was taken down by something so primitive as a spear!

I was destined to be the next commander of the Cheshire clan! I was not to fall! I was weak! That clan made me weak, I never should have saved that thing!

The only way I can get that I want is to take it, and take it I shall. Bring it on earth, Morith is back.

"Nova? where did you get that name from? or does it make you feel more...edgy" I ask tilting my head slightly.

"Well actually, it came from a job I worked for. They were called the Nova Corps. It's an interglactic police force." He smiled brightly, his eyes shining when he talked about it.

"Right, ok so now that this reunion is over can we get back to teaching me?" I ask.

"That's cute, you still need a teacher" Loki mocked.

"That's cute, you still think your big and bad and that you can't learn anymore. Unlike you, I am always evolving and learning in every way I can. That's why I will always dominate you, I will always be better then the god of lies."

I walked away from Loki and over to Nova who was smiling, trying to stifle a laugh.

"Let's get started"

A few hours past of me hitting dummies, trying to control my movements and sometimes getting flung into the mats Nova had set out.

Finally I got used to the heaviness of the blades and the thickness of the mist they gave.

I also learned a little more about Nova. I also learned that the Annihilation Wave destroyed all of the Nova Corps and somehow he was imbued with their combined power and guided by the super-intelligent Worldmind computer.

He is quite fascinating.

"I think you have the hang of this" Nova said putting down the dummy he was holding.

"You think so?" I ask out of breath.

"I know so" he smiles holding out his hand.

I shook it saying a thank you before Loki comes up tearing my hand away from Nova's.

Before I could ask he brings me out of the layer and into the living quarters again.

"Loki, what is the meaning of this?" I ask slightly annoyed.

"We need to go, like right know" he said frantically searching the room.

"Why?" I ask doing the same. Suddenly I see a flying machine the size of my hand fly up to the window.

"Get down!" I whisper yell.

We both duck behind the couch. We hear the machine buzzing as it flies around the window before it fades away.

We both look at each other silently questioning weather we should get up and check.

I finally tear my eyes away from his and peek my eyes above the couch at the window. The machine is gone but there is a sticker on the window.

There is a green sticker that says clear on it. I'm assuming that means the machine has cleared this room.

"We're good" I say. Loki pops his head out also and turns to me. His hair is slightly tussled making some parts stick up.

"Well that was fun" he smiles. I turn to him and I can't help but smile a little.

I look away from him and let out a breath. "I saw that" he teased. The slight smile returns as I look at him.

In this moment, I don't want to look away. So I don't.

That's when the door to the basement burst open revealing Nova. We both step away and look at him.

"Sorry to interrupt but you might want to look outside." He says looking panicked.

Me and Loki both look at each other before running to the door. "Wait, not through there" Nova points to the stairs leaning up. "Come with me"

We both book it up the stairs and through a metal door. We are on the roof again.

We all crouch down and look over the edge. Hundreds of pople are filling into the stadium.

"What are they doing? The fights not till tomorrow" I ask.

Nova looks at his watch and his eyes grow wide. "It is tomorrow"

"What?" Me and Loki both say. "Remember how when we first got here you said time is different here?" I ask Loki. "How different did you mean?"

Loki and me both look over the the stadium, then Loki stands up.

"What are you doing? Get down!" I try and pull him down but he won't budge.

"I have to go, I promised I would be there watching with the grandmaster. If I'm not there he will suspect something" he sighs.

I stand up, pulling him away from the edge. "Why didn't you tell me" I ask.

"I didn't think it was relative at the time love" I rolled my eyes before looking into his.

"You are such a handful" I say quietly. He smiles.

He leans in and lightly kisses me on the lips. He pulls back and begins to walk away.

I grab him by the collar and kiss him hard on the lips like it's the last time I'll see him.

He is shocked but eventually  puts his hands on my waist and pulls me closer. He kisses me back with just as much passion.

We both pull away, I put my forehead on his and close my eyes. "Come back ok" I whisper.

"Always" he says kissing me one last time before letting me go. He walks to the fire escape and begins walking down.

"I always knew that would happen" Nova barges in. I groan and walk back inside.
