Days passed since Ollie's death. Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. Phantom had been spending the last three months looking for Sol, but he always returned without her. He continued to respect Ollie's commands and keep Sol safe from Penny, and kept everything about Sol a secret. One day, while Phantom was out looking for Sol, the dogs hear what sounded like someone screaming. They wanted to know why, but since Phantom wasn't there they would never know. Phantom later returned, and they were all over him.
"We heard someone scream." Carol said. "Can you go check it out?"
"No." Phantom replied. "I just want to sleep."
"Please." Sunny said. "We want to know."
"Curiosity killed the cat." Someone said. "Who knows, it might kill the dog next."
They all turned to face the new comer, and were kind of scared seeing the dog.
"Phantom." The dog said.
Phantom looked up to face the dog, and then he flinched.
"Hi." He said. "I thought you were dead."
"Where is she?" The dog asked.
"Umm, there is a slight problem." Phantom said. "You see, she ran off when told that you were dead."
"I told you to let her down easy." She growled. "How long has she been lost?"
"Since the day you died." Phantom said.
"Three months?" she asked. "She has been missing for three whole months?"
"Look, Ollie, I've been looking for her, but I haven't found her." Phantom said.
"Oh course you haven't." She said, turning away from him. "She won't come out of hiding for anyone except me."
"If I had known that this was going to happen I wouldn't have told her." Phantom said.
"Once I find her, I'll be going back to Arizona." Ollie said. "She isn't safe here, neither am I."
"Both of you are safe here." Phantom said.
"Sol is missing, I was killed." Ollie yelled. "Sol and I are going back to Arizona."
"You are alive?" Penny asked, coming back from the hunt. "How are you still alive?"
Ollie looked at her. "Wouldn't you like to know."
"I would like to know." Penny said. "So I can kill you the right way next time."
"So you are the one who pushed me into the road." Ollie said. "Isn't that nice. Getting the most aggressive dog's bad side."
"I didn't expect you to come back to life." Penny said. "Like really, who does that? Who comes back to life after being killed over three months ago?"
"Guess what." Ollie said, lowering her head.
On her head was a small pair of bright red horns.
"The devil." Penny said, backing up.
Everyone backed away from Ollie, knowing she was more than capable of killing all of them in only a matter of seconds. Ollie went to search for Sol, hoping to find her before something happens to her. Sol was an adorable puppy, so anyone could come and take her home with them, then Ollie would never see her again. Ollie howled, hoping Sol would hear and answer. She didn't want to stay in San Francisco any longer, she wanted to go home. Before she could leave she wanted to find Sol, she wanted to have her friend back. She waited a couple minutes before howling again, hoping to get an answer. She continued her search, and howled once in awhile. She started to think she would never see Sol again, until she heard someone answer her howls. Ollie followed the sound of the howls, but she didn't find Sol. The howls stopped, and Ollie gave up her search, she feared she might never see Sol again.
