River's POV::
I sit down in the car, looking in front of me. Vito gets in and sits awkwardly beside me. "I don't think I need to ask how you are," he says. His jaw clenches.
"No, you don't," I snap. He looks at me with raised brows, lowering his sunglasses. "Oh don't give me that look. Why the heck would you say something like that?"
"I was proving a point. Did you not expect me to fucking defend myself against your judgmental parents," he says, the vein at the side of his neck becoming more visible. It's obvious has mad at me for snapping but I don't care.
"Yes, their judgmental, but that doesn't give you the right to give them an insight on our sex life. In their eyes I'm supposed to be innocent, I wanted to keep that image. Me being with a mean looking, tattooed covered man, and being engaged to him was enough for them to know; not that I'm no longer a virgin."
"Come here," he says, his voice husky and deeper than usual. I don't move. "I said, come. Here. That is before I have to grab you," he says. I swallow down my nervousness and lean over. "Don't ever raise your voice with me again. Don't challenge me. Don't get me mad, or you will be punished."
I blink at him in shock, my mouth suddenly as dry as a desert. "Yes, sir."

I get out of the car and look up at the tattoo parlor. I've always walked pass this place on my way to school or back home, but never wanted to be inside. Vito takes my hand and kisses my palm.
"Come on, beautiful," he says as he leads me into the parlor. Deigns cover the walls while loud music plays. The sound of buzzing fills my ears more than the music though. He nods towards someone in the corner who stands and walks over.
"Who's the one getting the tattoo?" The man asks.
"Both of us," Vito tells him. The man looks me up and down with a suggestive look. I grasp Vito's arm tightly, looking away. "Don't look at my girl like that, unless you want a tattoo gun shoved into your neck," he says. The man looks away from me immediately.
"S-sorry, sir. Follow me this way," he says. Still holding onto Vito's arm, we follow him and go to the seat. "Who's going first?" He asks. Vito sits down as an answer. "What do you want?"
"The letter R, preferably in cursive," he says. The man nods and starts drawing something.
"Where did you want this?" He asks, looking over Vito for a clear spot. "Back?"
"Covered."
"Somewhere on your leg?"
"Both covered."
"Rib?"
"Nope."
"I don't assume you would want a tattoo on your dick?" I struggle not to laugh.
"Hell no. I think I have a spot on the back of my neck," he says. The artist looks over the spot and nods.
"Okay, let me get everything set up, then I'll get to work."

I look at the back of his neck at the new tattoo of my first initial. A smile spreads across my face.
"Your turn, Miss," the man says. I sit down and take my coverup off, setting it on my lap. "Design?"
"A V," I tell him. He once again designs something and shows it to me. I nod and tell him where I want it. I lift the side of my shirt up to where its almost showing my bra. Vito clears his throat.
"It can't be there. It has to be somewhere it can be seen." I pull my shirt back down and give him my wrist. "Does it hurt the first time?"
"I'm sorry, I have a really bad mind," he says with a laugh, placing the template on my wrist. "It hurts for certain people. It might or may not." I nod and try to relax.
