Erin woke up in the motel bed. She'd only slept for a couple of hours, it was impossible for a vampire to get a good days sleep in a breather bed. Unless, she laughed to herself, you thought you were a breather.
She glanced over at Artur who was peacefully sleeping in a chair, wrapped up in a blanket. Then Erin surveyed the door. She had locked it before going to bed, though there was still the nagging suspicion that the Count might break in anyway. The door looked fine though, so Erin decided that he must have finally left the motel.
Erin thought Count Dracula must have gone back to the castle to see his precious son, "That garlic muncher," She thought out loud, "Although... I might want to-" She stopped herself from talking and climbed out of bed to see if anyone was influencing her thoughts. Had she really just been about to say that she might want to see Vlad too?
Erin desperately hoped that what had happened to Will wasn't happening her to as well. She hated him and for Artur's safety she had to continue hating him.
"Then again, Vlad is rather powerful, he could keep Artur safe," She smacked the side of her head for saying such a thing.

Will pulled away from Ingrid's embrace and stood back, holding out his hands in defense, "I'm so sorry, really I am. Please just try to forget what I did..."
Vlad stepped forwards with his arms crossed, he was just behind Ingrid, "Everything was just a dream to her. Something happened, I don't understand it-"
Ingrid held out her arm for silence, tilting her head towards her brother, "It doesn't matter, everything's okay now."
"But what happened?" Will asked.
Ingrid started to speak but Vlad cut her off, speaking through gritted teeth, "I don't know, Will, why don't you ask your best friend, Erin?"
Will rolled his eyes, also folding his arms, "I said I was sorry! If you hadn't mindwiped us none of this would have happened!"
Vlad's voice echoed through the building, "IF I HADN'T WE"D ALL BE ASH!"
Ingrid could see a fight was brewing, she wouldn't stand for it, "Just stop!" She shouted, standing between them and holding out her arms. Both sets of eyes fell on her, "I'm fine. We're all fine now. Just stop."
There was silence for a moment, then Vladimir and Will shook hands, exchanging quiet grunts.
Ingrid sighed, "Okay. Now I have some questions," She flicked her eyes towards the dining table and all three of them quickly sat down.
"Ask away..." Vlad spread out his arms, stretching.
"One," She began, "Where is Dad?"
"I don't know," Vlad replied, "He just left."
Ingrid nodded her head, "Two. Where is Erin, and three, did she take Artur?"
"Don't know and yes."
"Right," She turned to Will, "Is that corpse still in the backyard?"
He looked down, ashamed, and answered, "Yes."
Ingrid closed her eyes for a second then whispered, "Get rid of it before I go back."
"Gladly."
Both vampires waited in silence for Ingrid to ask another question but none came, she just stared at the wooden table, using her finger to trace the knots in its surface. After a good ten minutes she broke the silence by saying, "This is all so overwhelming, it's making me feel sick, I'll be in my coffin." She sped out of the room.
"I'll do some grave digging," Will left too and Vlad was left alone with Wolfie outside the door.
Vladimir didn't know what to do about Erin. It was his fault she hated him, it was his fault about fifty times over, but that didn't make what she was doing right. His anger towards her strengthened greatly when he glanced at the window and saw a toddler falling, or possibly flying, past the pane towards he ground. Whether he was flying or falling, Vlad heard a crash from below that could only mean one thing.
