"The end?" Erin kept her gaze on Vlad.

"That's how this ends," Vlad grabbed her other wrist and began shaking Erin, "Vampires and breathers, all wiped out!"

She used vampire speed to get out of his grip and Erin stood up. It couldn't really happen, could it? Total extermination. It didn't seem rational. But then again all Vlad's other predictions had come true.

"I have to stop it. I have to stop it. I have to stop it," Vlad rocked himself back and fourth. During that short moment of darkness, he had seen the future. It had wrecked him. He didn't want that future to be his future. He had to stop it.

"Vlad," Erin wrapped her arms around him, "How can you stop it."

"I have to do it. I have to wipe vampires from everyone's memory," His face said that he was serious.

"What? No... you can't."

Vlad used that voice he always uses when he's worried, "I have no choice."

The Count sped behind Erin, and a second later so did Wolfie, holding Artur. They had found Vlad. But they were too late.

They were the last people Vlad saw before he did it. His father. His love. His son. His brother.

Then he screamed.

And mind wiped them all.

No more vampires.

They never existed.

They are just a story.

Just a fairy tale.

Vampires don't exist.

"Sorry I led them to your family," Will sat up.

"It's okay. They would have hurt you if you hadn't," Ingrid helped him stand up.

"They hurt me anyway."

"Well, you know what I mean," Once Will was standing she began leading him towards the door, "We need to get you to a hospital."

~

Erin grabbed Artur from Wolfie, "That was close."

The Count shivered, "Too close. Lets never get involved in riots ever again."

Vlad just stood there watching them act like nothing too bad had happened.

They thought they had been involved in a riot. He knew the truth. He'd mind wiped them and would have to live with that for the rest of his unlife.

"Maybe we should go get ourselves checked out," Erin noticed Vlad, "You okay?"

"Yeah," He forced it out of him, "Yeah."

She smiled, "You sure?"

"Yes."

"Alright then, let's go to the hospital."

~

The nurse pulled off his white rubber gloves and scribbled on his pad of paper, "We've had a lot of people coming in, that riot must have been something."

"You have no idea," Vlad replied before anyone else had the chance, "Are we good to go?"

Erin and Wolfie sat side by side on a hospital bed. They had just been examined.

The Count, refusing to be looked at, held Artur in the corner of the room, while Vlad stood by the bed.

"Yep, you're all good," The nurse handed Erin a slip of paper, "You may want to put these with your records."
