Ingrid woke up in her coffin. What a terrible, terrible dream she'd just had.

Of course, it hadn't all been bad. But based on the outcome, Ingrid would call it a daymare.

"Ingrid!" Vlad banged his fist on her bedroom door, "Breakfast is ready!"

"Com- coming," She stammered.

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah!" Ingrid shouted back at him and clamped her hand over her mouth. She waited a minute to be sure that her brother was gone, then she cried.

So much had happened in that dream. It was like a whole lifetime played out in one fantasy.

She had gotten Will back, but then Vlad had been dusted. Along with her Dad they'd spent quite a while trying to bring Vlad back with this magical book. Their efforts were rewarded. Vlad returned, though so did Erin; with a baby.

The group of them had lived in this townhouse like a real family. Then Garside had become a blood bath. They were all hunted, Vlad and Erin forced away and almost lost.

Ingrid recalled a happier moment of the dream, being on top of Big Ben and sliding down it's roof. She remembered almost having her own baby, but she lost it thanks to Vladimir.

In the dream, Robin had returned. They'd fought slayers and vampires and werewolves. Ingrid had been abducted by the vile dogs.

Vlad's eighteenth birthday had caused an extermination of many breathers, it was chaos. Ingrid was tortured, so was Will, so was Vlad. Really, they had all suffered.

Ingrid smiled to herself as she remembered more of the dream. She'd gotten married. It was such a beautiful dress. For a while everything had gone perfectly.

Then Vlad had to mindwipe everyone to forget that vampires had ever existed. They'd lived like breathers. It wasn't too bad a life.

But then when the mindwipe had been removed everything went wrong. Erin and Will's feelings changed. There were fights and breakups, then they started to get better.

Ingrid remembered herself getting staked at the last moments of the dream. She was staked by Erin. Then Ingrid had started coughing. And she'd woken up.

Now, sitting in her coffin, a little while after helping defeat Malik and Elisabetta, Ingrid was part of the family again. She'd just been asked to betray her brother, to take him to the council who would surely ash him. They'd offered her Will in return.

Ingrid knew that what she'd just dreamt was certainly the outcome of her handing Vlad over.

Was it worth it? She wasn't sure. What if she told Vlad everything, right now? He could do something. Maybe he could get Will back for her at the same time.

Ingrid didn't know what to do. If she did take Vlad to the council, there would be so much pain and suffering. But it seemed worth it for those little happy moments.

She hadn't had the chance to finish her dream, what would the outcome have been? Was it worth finding out?

Ingrid shook off the thought, she'd decide later. For now, she decided to pull herself together and go join The Count and Vlad for breakfast.

She'd relive her dream afterwards.
