CHAPTER 4
"When did you start asking for my opinion, Ericka?" Ashley, my childhood friend was whining for calling her in the middle of her date with Hunter. "As far as I can remember, kayang-kaya mo mag-decide sa mga ganyan bagay."
Her long eyeslashes was butting against her eyes. "I-I need a friend you know."
Ashley Esqueza was my bestfriend before. Ayoko lang talaga ginugulo ito dahil naka-focus si Ashley sa lovelife palagi at hindi ko rin naman makwento sakanya ang ginawa sakin ni Martha.
"Okay, bitch ganito na lang." Ashley crossed her arms. "You are in a win-win situation. Kung manalo ka makikita mo si Rebecka kung matalo ka naman makikita mo parin naman si Rebecka. He's playing tricky game on you. Ganyan talaga silang mga lalaki magpaglaro. I've been there. Ayaw mo ba non? Pagaagawan ka nila. Ako nga, na-survive ko eh. See? Ang haba parin ng buhok ko hanggang ngayon," sabi nito habang sinusuklay ang buhok.
"But mine is way different. Hindi mo kilala ang pagkatao niya."
"Garreth is a criminal. Was, actually." Ashley said, talking about her past lover. "Take note, binalak niya ako kidnappin at ang dami niyang sinabi sakin na nakakatakot na bagay. Pero matatanda na naman kayo. You can always talk about it."
"Ashley, he's not just a criminal. He's a killer."
Huminga ito ng malalim. "Kung matalo ka man ngayon gabi, and if you think it's the only way to see your daughter, so be it. Keep it a secret na lang. Make a deal with Rake. Para everybody happy." Ashley smiled. "I wish I was there... Come back na."
"I will. Magpapakita ako sa inyo."
"Yes naman! Siguruduhin mo 'yan ha? Para makita mo rin ang mga chikiting saka mapagplanuhan natin kung paano ako magpo-propose kay Hunter, okie doks?!"
I laughed. The ever positive attitude side of Ashley Esqueza. "Yeah, sure." I miss my sister, of course. "I wish I can help. Thank you for the advice. I'll see you soon." Ibinaba ko ang ang video call namin dalawa. I was trying to contact my other two kids but no one was answering my call
Nagsimula na ako magpalit ng black two piece bikini. As I was seeing my refelection in the mirror, hindi ako mapakali dahil kitang-kita ang mga tattoo ko. One thing why I didn't want to wear revealing outfit anymore it's because of this.
The first tattoo was on my shoulder stretching to her elbow. It was a flower tattoo, may nakasulat din doon. The second tattoo was on my body, it was my role before to that organization.
The third one, was on below my breast saying, "l'amour peut me sauver."
The fourth tattoo, was on my rib covering half of the side of her body. It was a fallen angel tattoo with a hand covering the mouth of the angel.
