Josie and Colby were in the car in their way to only a place that Colby knew about. Sam and Matt would be there too. Colby decided to surprise Josie for her 20th birthday with a trip to Hawaii. Matt had packed her bag for her so that she didn't know and Colby had the trip planned to a T. He knew how much she wanted this. She always talked about taking a vacation with him. They had talked about how she wanted to lay in a beach under the stars with him. They hadn't done that before. Colby knew a lot about her, but not everything. He did know enough to know that he loved her more than he had ever loved anyone else. He wanted to spend his life with her. She was perfect in his eyes. Colby looked over at Josie as her favorite song played and she sang and jammed out to it. She was weird and he loved that. Josie looked over at Colby as he drove. She had no clue where they were going, but she didn't care all she cared about was that he was there with her just like he had been for the past year. Every time she looked at him she knew he was hers forever. He didn't care what she looked like. He loved when she wore his sweat pants that were a little big on her making the tops of her lacy underwear stick out. He loved when she would dance around her apartment to her favorite songs and sing like she didn't care who was watching because she was having fun. Josie loved all the weird things Colby would do too. She loved when he would randomly hug her from behind and she loved when he would embarrass himself and his face would turn red. She loved when he would show up at her apartment and just walk in and lay down dramatically beside her and lay his head in her lap. Matt and Sam were already at the airport waiting for Josie and Colby who should be there soon. They were very public about heir relationship now. They didn't care what anyone thought of them. They loved each other and after a year they were still going strong. Matt had become very popular youtube and he and Sam would make videos together. They gained a lot of support from fans and new comers. As Josie and Colby arrived at the air port Josie was confused.
"Why are we here?" She asked Colby as they stepped out of the car.
"You said you wanted a vacation." Colby said as he grabbed her suit case out of the trunk. She looked at him in shocked she didn't know it was there.
"Where?" Josie asked as she grabbed her bag from him with a smile.
"You'll see." Colby said as he looked the car and they bother entered the airport and saw Matt and Sam waiting for them.
"What are you two doing here?" Josie asked as she hugged Matt.
"Well I know you wouldn't go to Hawaii without your best friend and he wouldn't go without his boyfriend so we got two separate hotel rooms." Colby explained as he looked down at Josie.
"Hawaii?!" Josie said excitedly as she jumped up and down.
"Colby planed it all. It was his idea." Sam explained. Josie looked at Colby and smiled. "Colby you are the best boyfriend ever!" Josie shouted as she jumped on Colby so he was now holding her with her legs wrapped around his waist. Colby loved this he never wanted to let go of her, but he knew that if he didn't they would be late. They all got in a plane and made it to Hawaii. They all got of the plane and into and Uber and left to their hotel. It was late evening there. The sun was setting over the west side of the island where they were. The sun made Josie's eyes sparkle as she looked at it and all Colby could do was smile at her. Her blue green eyes with that special little brown spot in the one were the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. Colby grabbed Josie's hand and held it tight.
"What?" She laughed as she looked at him.
"Nothin your just beautiful." Colby smiled at her. He took out his phone and took a picture of her while she was smiling with the sunset in the background. When they made it to the hotel Josie and Colby went Into their room. The room was very large and tropical looking.

They set all of their stuff down and just took in the beautiful room that Josie guessed must have costed a fortune and that kinda made her feel bad because she hated when Colby spent money on her. They both look out the large sliding glass door and out to the ocean. The blue waves crashed against the shore line. The crystal blue water reminding Josie of Colby's eyes. Colby slid open the door and put out his hand for Josie to grab as he led her out the door and to the patio area that was surrounded by a glass fence. Josie leaned on the glass and looked off into the seemingly endless water. She herd faint music playing behind her that slowly got louder. Chasing cars. One of her favorites. She turned and her eyes locked with Colby's as he reached out his hand to her. She was standing there in his sweat pants the same ones she had worn on the flight with he navy blue spaghetti strap tank top barefoot on the concerts patio. Colby didn't mind he though she was beautiful anyways. He thought she always looked beautiful even when she was sick with the flu and he stayed three days with her at home as took care of her. He through she was beautiful even after she was scrapped and bruised from the car wreck. Josie took his hand with a huge smiled from ear to ear on her lips. She took one of his hands and put the other in his bicep as he held her waist and pulled her close to him. She laid her head in his shoulder as they danced around the patio to the song.
"Would you lay with me and just forget the world?" Colby whispered to her along with the song. Josie smile grew wider as Colby pulled away slightly and looked at her. She smiled just as wide as she did as small tears formed in his eyes making Josie begin to tear up as well. Colby let go of her making Josie think something was wrong, but nothing was wrong everything was right. Everything was perfect. Colby began to kneel down and pulled a small box from the front pocket of his joggers. Josie began to cry tears of joy.
"Josie Emaline Asher... will you marry me?" He asked her. She put her head in her hands as she cried tears of joy. She looked at him with a smiled and nodded.
"Yes, YES!" She shouted as Colby stood up and she jumped on him, wrapping her legs around his waist. She hopped down and Colby put the beautiful ring in her finger. A ring that was almost as beautiful as her, but in his eyes nothing was more beautiful then her. His new fiancé.
"I love you Josie." He smiled at her.
"I love you too Colby." She smiled back. Colby grabbed the side of her face and wiped a tear from her cheek.
"No, I don't think you understand how much I love you." He said as he planted his lips on hers pulling her even closer to him in his arms. This was the place she wanted to be. This was better than Hawaii.
