Chapter 27
21st November,2016.
Garner Enlightment.
"ARE YOU GUYS READY?" Jude asked the couple.
Snow looked at Willow and answered with a grin, "Never been this ready before."
Willow gently pecked Snow's lips. "Let's go, shall we?"
"Ladies and gentlemen, Garner Enlightment welcomes you to join in on the joyous occasion of our company. Without any further ado I give you our CEO, Mr. Willow Chase Garner and to accompany him today we have, Miss. Snow Billy Anderson, CEO and owner of the fastest rising company, The Flakes." As Jude was done with his speech the couple entered and took their seats.
The entire mass had their eyes glued on Snow's and Willow's joined hands.
A reporter from the FOX channel asked the first question. "Hello Mr. Garner and Miss. Anderson. I'm pretty curious to know, when did you'll meet for the first time?
"We met at a business meeting." Willow kept his answers short and to the point.
The reporters looked unsatisfied by the answer but none prodded any further.
"Ma'am, what did you first think about sir?" A Metro Times interviewer asked.
"The first time we met, I'd accept I was a bit intimidated but by the end of the day, I just realized that there's so much more about him. Unlike all the news heard about him." She said with a confidence that could turn down any rumor ever spread against Willow.
"Sir," called the Detroit Mirror reporter, "What is the recent fond memory you both shared?"
Willow smiled, a charming smile which earned a few gasps from the crowd, and said, "If you all had joined the live video, I'd say you'll were a part of my fond moment and that is," he paused and looked over at Snow, "The time my angel walked down the isle of the bridge and towards me. It was then that I had realized how insanely had I fallen in love. That moment I saw the next sixty years of my life."
Snow was blushing from the crown of her head to the tips of her toes.
"That is so sweet. Thank you, sir."
"Speaking about the future, have you both decided a date to tie the knot?" A writer from the Between the Lines asked.
"The 11th of December." The couple said in unison.
With that declared a round of applause rang out through the hall.
But then a deadly silence soon followed because of the one question by the Ambassador Editor.
"Is this a prenuptial?"
"Excuse me?" said Snow.
The Editor of the Ambassador News seller was the only one who didn't seem much happy about this announcement.
"Miss. Dalrene Parker, it's pretty obvious that I and my fiancé are bound by our love and not by a stupid tie up." Willow snarled at her.
"If you say so Mr. Garner, for how long have you both been in a relationship and why was it hidden from the world?"
"We've been together for a very short period but it seems as if has been like this forever. Speaking about keeping it hidden, we've not exactly kept it hidden. Just like normal beings this information was limited to our families and in due time announced to our well-wishers." Snow smartly enough diverted the first part of her question.
"It has been a pleasure to interact with all of you. The conference is now dismissed." Willow firmly announced and exited the conference hall along with Snow and Jude trailing behind them.

WILLOW PACED HIS ENTIRE cabin while Snow sat quietly observing him. He went on pacing, cursing under his breath and murmuring things for 15 minutes straight. Finally Snow held his hand and dragged him to take a seat.
She went around his chair and massaged his forehead and shoulder blades. Willow visibly relaxed.
Jude entered the cabin all exasperated. As soon as Willow saw Jude all of his previous frustration returned. He banged his hand on the table with a loud thud and yelled at Jude. "What the hell was she doing here?!"
Snow jerked back and watched him in bewilderment. What has got you so worried my man? She thought to herself.
"I- I'm sorry Willow. " Jude stuttered. "I swear Dalrene was not on the list last night. She was a replacement."
"Is there something I'm missing out on? I mean, it seems as if you have a personal grudge or something." Snow voiced her confusion. Just then her phone went off. "Give me a minute please; I have to take this call.
Willow nodded in agreement.

Over the phone...
"AH! MISS. PARKER, WHAT news do you have for me?" A sinister voice spoke.
"It's not a damn set up!" Dalrene yelled in frustration.
"Who better than me will know the Garners?" The devilish laughter followed after this statement.
