The Flakes.

"GOOD EVENING MR. GARNER. Welcome to The Flakes." Alicia greeted Willow with a huge smile and a bouquet of flowers. "I'm Alicia Wane, PA of Miss. Anderson. I shall lead you to her office."

Willow acknowledged her with a nod while Jude's eyes went glossy with desire. Jude hastily put his hand forward before Alicia had the chance to lead the way. "I'm Jude Maggot, manager of Mr. Garner."

"It's my pleasure to meet you Mr. Maggot."

And then they followed her to the fifth floor, where Snow's cabin was located.

Alicia knocked twice on the cabin door and instantly a sweet sound echoed through the door, "Come in."

As Willow stepped into the cabin, his eyes locked with Snow's and both of them freezed at their spot.

The first word that popped in his mind was 'beautiful'. She had golden blonde hair. Her face was heart shaped. Her eyes were blue that matched the colour of the sky. She had sharp and high cheekbones, and because she was smiling her dimples were visible too.

Snow too was busy taking in the sight before her. She noticed that his brown hair had streaks of golden in them. His eyes were the most captivating 'so grey, so beautiful'....she thought.

The sound of coughing and clearing of throat brought them out of their trance.

Willow and the others walked to Snow's desk. "Hello Mr. Garner, it's a pleasure to meet you." Snow said in all her confident glory extending her hand for a formal handshake.

Willow took her hand willingly as he replied with a nod, "Likewise Miss. Anderson."

"Refreshments?"

"Coffee will do."

"Okay." Turning towards Jude she asked, "How about you gentleman?"

"Oh Miss. Anderson call me Jude and to answer your question, coffee for me too."

"So coffee it is then." She picked her intercom and dialed no.5 for kitchen "Hey Jane. Could you please send three coffees and my usual to my cabin? ....... Thanks."

Willow was bewildered by the hostility a person could have. She was his total opposite. Willow didn't have so much patience and speaking politely was completely out of his dictionary.

What kind of CEO on the planet speaks so informally to a servant.... Willow's arrogance made its way to his mind.

Growing impatient Willow growled, "Miss. Anderson can we get started on the meeting."

Snow was taken aback by his sudden outburst and reluctantly nodded her head.

"Alicia, could you please tour Jude around here?"

"Sure."

After they exit Snow's cabin, she got straight to the point of the meeting "Mr. Garner have you brought the contract papers?

"Yes Miss. Anderson I have brought the contract papers, why else do you think I'm here?"

Now he definitely thinks I'm hungry for his money....Snow cursed under her breath.

"I'm sorry Mr. Garner I didn't mean to offend you. You can proceed with your queries."

"Miss. Anderson there are few personal questions related to this deal that I'm willing to ask." Snow nodded her head, urging him to continue. "Firstly, can I know who proposed the idea of marriage over a mere merger and that too with a company like yours, who's just born in the business world?"

His mom had informed him that the proposal was made by his father, but what if Snow had blackmailed them or something. It could be anything.

Snow was hurt by his harsh words but calmed herself down as she answered, "Mr. Garner my company has worked hard to offer a merger and be accepted to work with The Garner Enlightment. But, the marriage proposal over a merger was put forth by your father. Mr. Garner I understand that I'm not a girl who can fit your needs. Even I cannot spend the rest of my life with someone who is going to blame me for an unsuccessful marriage. So, if you are unhappy I will take back my merging offer. But Mr. Garner I'm doing this all so that I can back up for the people who've brought The Flakes this far. The decision is completely yours sir." She was breathless by the end of her speech. All the energy was put in keeping her tone as calm as possible. But she was a ball of fire inside.

Willow was stunned by the calm, boldness and the truthfulness of Snow's speech. He couldn't speak a word. He forgot all other questions he had. All his doubts went flying out the window.

And something snapped in him. As if a lock had found it's key. He pulled out the contract papers and signed it.

Snow was confused, half-hoping that he would cancel the contract right away. But what happened there in front of her shocked her too.

"Miss. Anderson can I have the honor to explain the clause to you?" Willow asked politely.

What? What's wrong with you Willow? From when do you speak politely and most of all from when do you explain?

Snow just nodded her head for an answer.

"The clause states that in order for the merger to take place, the CEO's of both the companies have to be married first, in the span of one month."

Snow's eyes popped out of her sockets.

"One month?" She yelped.

"Yes. The sooner the better, isn't it?"

Snow gulped hard and nodded for him to continue.

"I guess my father has kept this as the only clause. Here take this, read it and you may sign it." He concluded handing over the papers to Snow.

She read it thoroughly and with a heavy heart - signed it.
