Paradise Farmhouse,
Kalamazoo.

SNOW SAT AT THE desk by the window, reading a book, as she heard the time ticking by. She soon found herself losing interest in the fictional story and drifting in the thoughts of her real life story. The past week had changed her life completely. As she reminisced, she felt something unusual. A feeling she had completely forgotten about since high school.

How is this possible? It's just been a week. How can I fall for a person who I know absolutely nothing about? Maybe the wait has taken a toll on me. Am I simply attracted or infatuated? He is attractive, no doubt, but is it really love, or is this again the thing of having no other option? I hope history doesn't repeat itself and make me bend to fate's will. It doesn't feel like it though.

Click.

The sound of the door clicking forced Snow out of her self-doubts. She closed the book, sat it down on the desk and stood gazing at the horizon. It was calming and peaceful.

Willow watched Snow intently as he exited the bathroom. She was unusually quiet. Not even a smile or a glance for that matter. He hurriedly dressed and exited the room.

"Fern!" he exclaimed out of breath when he spotted someone help worthy. "I need you to do something for me."

Fern smirked, "Are you asking for help Will?"

He glared at her for a second but then thought better than arguing at this time. "Yes I need your help. You can tease me all you want later but now we have no time and you have to do this. Something is off with Snow and I'm suspecting she somehow has got to know about what I'm going to be doing tonight. I want you to find whether this is the case and tell me at the earliest so I can cancel it all before I mess up everything." He ranted the entire thing in one breath.

"Calm down Will. I'll go and check out." Fern reassured.

Fern rushed to Snow's room and spotted her standing by the window lost in her thoughts. She walked over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.

Feeling a hand on her shoulder Snow jumped in fright. "Oh god! Fern, you scared the hell out of me."

"What's got you so jumpy Missy?" Fern asked trying to get some information.

Should I tell her? There's no one who know Willow well and at the same time to who I can be comfortable to talk with. I guess I should tell her.

"Is it wrong or stupid to fall for someone you know barely anything about?"

Fern smiled. "Look, I'm not at all good at giving advises in this matter. But, I can tell you something my mom once told me, the concept in our minds about knowing someone is that we should know the person's past and his likes and dislikes and when he sleeps, when he eats and blah blah blah. Is that really necessary to love someone? Absolutely not. What matters is who that person is when he is with you. You should notice the small things they do to make you happy. The funny jokes they crack or become the joke themselves to see you smile. See whether that person confides in you to seek assurance when things go wrong or when they are upset. Notice when they lend you their shoulder to cry on and cradle you in their arms at the time of grief. Boys are complicated. They can't display their emotions in front of everyone. Think about it in this way, when you see a cute puppy you instantly fall in love with it. You go to touch it but it gets frightened and moves away from you. You try to touch it again and it moves away again. After several tries you win his trust. Willow is the same Snow. He's scared and without you trying much you've made a huge difference to him. In him. He was cold and you came as oxygen and he breathed life once more. Just don't give up on him please."
