Khalid's POV

Normani and I had a ton of fun at the movies, it was refreshing to see the carefree Mani come out instead of the serious workaholic CEO, and that smile of hers she is gonna make a man die and return twice; and cum like there is no fucking tomorrow.

" Wakanda forever" She says while twirling infront of me

" Watch where you're going you dork" I yanked her away just in time before she ran into the greasily old man

" I can walk on my own you know" She rolls her eyes while hugging herself with her arms

" You're a terrible liar Mani. Here take my coat" I take off my coat and places it on her shoulder,. " Better right" She nods her head. We continue our journey in silence until we reached our destination.

" Hey lovebirds" Dinah smirks at us while passing Josh to us. " He has been waiting up all night so that yall can tuck him in then yall go get sum fluff in the sheets"

" Thank you Dinah you may leave now" Normani says while pushing Dinah through the door and ignoring everything Dinah was trying to say we took Josh up to his room and tucked him in

" Love you mama" He says while holding onto Mani's hand as though his life depended on it. He is out cold by now. My heart melted in that moment and tears are in Mani's eyes

" I love you too J" She kisses his forehead and leaves the room ahead of me

" That was big but I don't want him getting confused between me and his real mother"

" Listen to me Mani carrying a child for nine months and then pushing him outta ya pussy doesn't make you a good mother, what you have been doing for the past 8 months is a whole lot more than what that hoe who give birth to him ever done until she just up and left him as though he was some piece of trash. I know I have a lot of catching up to do too and imma gonna do whatever it takes to be a better father. Josh is our son"

" Thank you" I say while grabbing her hand and kissing the back of it they causes her to shiver

We begin walking towards her bed and I pushed her down lightly without disconnecting our lips. I reach to unbutton her jeans when she stops me.

" Just let me take care of you" I say while hovering over her

" It's okay Mani I respect your wishes" I slid off of her and went into the bathroom to take care of my business, Mani just needs to trust me.
