Normani's POV

I am sitting in my office with a ton of paper work on my desk, my head is swimming with confusion because of what happened between Khalid and I that night. Ugh, fuck this I mumble to myself while grabbing the latte and gulping half of it down. I grabbed my phone and decides to scroll through my twitter when someone walks in, thinking it's Ally

" Ally just let me be for a bit" I say while waving my arm aimlessly not bothering to break my attention from my phone

" Well too bad for Ally thank god I'm not her though"

" Oh Khalid"

" Yeah it's me Khalid"

" What can I do for you?" I say while finishing off my latte I can definitely get another one of these.

" Normani what is going on with you?"

" What are you talking about?" I opened my laptop and pretended as though as I am working.

" Quit playing the dumb role with me Normani....he slammed my computer shut which causes me to flinch I have never seen him this angry before

" Khalid I think you need to calm down" I got up from my seat and placed my hand over his

" What the fuck is this Normani you are sending me mixed signals. One moment you are ignoring me and the next you're trying to seduce me, are you bipolar or something"

" Just listen to me-

" No I'm done listening to you and your bullshit. Actually I came here to inform you that I have found an appartment. Josh and I will be out of your way in no time"

" I love having you and Josh around"

" If I was crazy I would have believed you"

Ally suddenly comes bursting into the office

" Oh am I interrupting something?"

" Nah, we're done here" He says while heading towards the door

" Khalid let's talk about this later. I don't want things to get weird between us at work"

" Later, there ain't no later and as soon as I find myself another job I will be out of this fuck hole too" He slams the door and his way out

" Okay what did I miss?"

" Go fuck yourself Ally cause I'm in no-

" Whoa slow down there tiger what's the matter he didn't dick you down today?"

" Don't you have work to do Allysin?"

" I am working here, this is the japan deal. You have to travel there in the morning to finalise the paper works and do yourself favor, get your shit together because those business moguls think you're just some hopeless romantic who is trying to crack a business deal" She tosses the folder on my desk and leaves, I sank myself into my chair and groaned this day is getting shittier by the second.
