Chapter 11

Normani's POV

I groaned as my head hit the cold desk at work but was soon snapped out of my agony when Ally presented herself with a hot cup of tea.

" Go away Ally" I mumble not bothering to look up at her

" You need me more than you think honey. I do not like the way you have been looking lately, you appear to be extremely tired and worn out; not forgetting the little puking session you had not so long ago"

" Thanks mom" I lifted my head and take a sip of the tea well that's refreshing and hopefully it stays down.

" So I have cancel all of your meetings for the rest of the day go on home and get some rest also get that boyfriend of yours to take you to a doctor cause I'm hella worried about you"

" I'm fine I guess I just need some rest that's all"

" Mani have you done a pregnancy test?"

" No why should I" I squinted my eyebrows at her, I mean Khalid and I hardly use condoms and I tried the pill but my brain is always taxed so I hardly remember to take them. Just great I may indeed be pregnant. I mean I enjoy taking care of Joshua but never had I imagined to actually have a child of my own. I mean child birth is a beautiful thing but I'm fucking scared to have another humanbeing passing through my vagina. But the dumb bitch I am allowed the nigger to fuck me raw everytime or most times.

" Snap out of your la la land Mani those hickies you been getting on your neck proves that you've been getting dick down a lot lately"

" Well forgive me mother Theresa for not being safe" I roll my eyes while taking another sip of the tea and closing my eyes to savour the taste

" Here's what we're gonna do, we'll grab your stuff and on our way to your house we'll grab a few home tests to-

" Let's just go to a damn doctor I want the most accurate confirmation in order to put my mind at ease"

" Okay whatever you want mija. Let's get you ready"

The doctor had given me a cup to pee in then I was asked to wait in the waiting area. I played with the hem of my jacket as I awaited my fate, when I heard my name being called I froze in my spot, this is it I thought to myself. Ally offered a hand as she guided us to  the doctor's office; she has been extremely supportive to me even though I have been a dumb bitch to her lately. Her patience seems to be hella thick.

" Ms. Hamilton you're a month pregnant congratulations" He smiles at me

" Thanks" I say with a sigh, Ally gives my hand a reassuring squeeze.

" I need you to climb onto this bed please so I can get a ultrasound done just to confirm everything is okay" I nod my head in compliance and lie on the bed lifting my shirt giving him enough access as he spreads the gel on my abdomen and begins to move the device around. " That little dot right there is your bundle of joy"

" Aww that is so cute how soon can we tell the sex?" Ally coos she is a whole lot more excited than I am

" Between 16-20 weeks. That's it" The doctor says as he cleans me up. " I prepared your prescition with your prenatal vitamins and your next appointment"

" Thank you so much doctor" Ally says

" You're welcome dear" The doctor leaves us alone as I hopped down from the bed and straighten my clothing

" Why aren't you happy Mani?"

" Because Ally you know I do not want to have kids. How could I be so stupid and careless" She drags her hand through her messy hair

" Well it has already happened and there is no way you're getting an abortion under my watch" Ally states sternly. I'm not even so sure if Khalid wants a child with me he may think I want to tie him down or something or he may not even want to step up to his responsibility, Josh is a typical example. My life is such a hot mess right now.
