I exit the classroom and let Vicky behind. I have five minutes to find and ask Ethan about her.

I almost run through the hallways and sigh annoyed when I can't find him. But, I meet one of his friends from his squad. Mackenzie. Maybe the most bitch lookin' sweet girl. I have talked to her maybe twice, and that was because she was asking for my Physics homework.

"Hey, Mackenzie. I'm sorry for bugging you, but I was wondering if you know where Ethan is," I said and she starts smiling. Why the hell is she smiling?

"I think he was at his locker, I'm not sure."

"Oh, thank you! Bye!"

"Bye!"

I turn around and walk fast to Ethan's locker. I think I remember where it is.

And, she was right. I find him standing next to his locker, talking to Brendon.

"Hey, can we talk for a second?" I asked him.

"Sure, what's the matter?"

"I'm sorry, Brendon, but this is a conversation for two."

"No problem. I have to go to my class anyway."

"Thank you."

He walks away and Ethan and I head to our next classes.

"So, I know that what I'm about to ask you is really weird, but... You know Vicky, right? I mean Victoria."

"Victoria Avery? The red-haired?"

"Yep, that one."

"Yeah, she's in my Biology class this year. Why?"

Ok, things are about to get weirder.

"Well, she's my best friend and... I wanted to ask you what you think about her."

This was way harder than I expected.

"She's kinda cute. I'd like to talk to her more, but she's like you. A weird antisocial."

"Fuck you, Ethan," I said, pushing him laughing. "Not everyone got the good looks and good social skills like you and your friends."

"I was kidding, relax," he chuckled and I rolled my eyes. "But yeah, I would like to talk to her more. She seems nice."

"Well, she's not as funny as I am, but she's ok," I added and he laughed.

"You are such a big comedian, Kayla."

"I know. Thank you. Bye!"

The lunch break finally comes and I sigh. The Health class was getting boring. Actually, no, it's always boring. I hate it.

I head to my locker slowly. I see Jason's back and smile. I walk faster to him, wanting to scare him, but he turns around and ruins everything.

"Idiot! You destroyed my plan!" I said and he chuckled.

"Oh, I'm sorry for turning around, babe. It's all my fault."

He wraps his arm around my shoulders and I smile. I look up at him with sad eyes.

"You're cute."

He pecks my cheek and I laugh.

"Stop it. You know I don't like it."

I push his hand away and he chuckles.

"I know."
