“Are you coming this Friday at the game?” Grayson asked me as we walked out of the Literature classroom.

“Absolutely. I need to be there when you'll win.” I winked.

“Aww, thank you for being so supportive.” he touched his chest.

“What are you two lovebirds talking about?” Vicky asked us, getting in between us. I roll my eyes and laugh.

“About how Kayla is going out with me this Thursday.” Grayson said and I raised my eyebrows.

“I am?” I asked surprised.

“Yeah. I'll pick you up at 7 pm.”

“Uhm, ok?” I laughed and he winked at me, then turned around and walked away. “Did he just ask me out?”

“Yeah, I think so.”

I wake up at 6:30 am, running on only two hours of sleep. I had to do my shit ton of homework. I mean, what do teachers think? That we don't have anything better to do than the stupid homework?

I packed the beanie in a box, then wrapped it in dark green and white wrapping paper. That also took me like half of hour because I suck at wrapping presents. But, because it's for Grayson, I actually tried to find tutorials and learned how to do it.

I do my morning routine, then change my clothes. I put on a pair of black sweatpants and a Fall Out Boy black hoodie.

I carefully put the gift in my backpack, then I grab my phone and car keys from the desk. I run downstairs and almost hit my mom.

“Sorry!” I apologized, kissing her cheek.

“Why are you running? You have time to get to school.” she chuckled.

“I have to give Grayson a gift. It's our one month anniversary.” I smiled widely.

“Really? I'm so happy for you, kids!” she hugs me and I giggle.

“Thanks, mom! I gotta go! Love you!” I kiss her cheek again and she laughs as I run to the door.

I put on the first pair of white sneakers I put my hands on, then run to my car, unlocking the doors fast. I get in and start driving to the high school. I talked to Vicky last night and she said it's okay if I don't pick her up this morning.

I get to the high school and park my car in my usual spot. I hop out and grab my backpack, then run inside. I walk to my locker first and take out the books I'll need for later and grab the Pre Cal and throw them in my backpack, making sure I don't hit the box.

Then, I head to Grayson's locker and see him dressed in a pair of grey sweatpants and a white hoodie. The hood was on and he kept his head low. Aww, my poor baby is probably tired!

I slowly walk to him and hug him tightly from behind. I wrap my arms around his waist and rest my head on his back.

“Happy one month anniversary, chipmunk man!” I chuckled and he took off his hood, turning around. He smiles instantly when he sees me, and so do I.

“Happy anniversary, pumpkin!” he answered, then kissed me on the lips shortly.

“I have something for you.” we both say in sync, then end up chuckling. “No, you didn't have to.” he talk again at the same time. “Ok, I go first.” we burst in laughter.
