“So, I have chocolate, vanilla, caramel, and strawberries. What flavors do you want?” I asked as I was looking through the refrigerator.
“Take them all out.”
I grab the four boxes of ice cream and put them on the counter.
“Where are the sprinkles?” he asked, looking through the cabinets.
“Middle cabinet, top shelf. And the syrups are right underneath them.”
Soon after, we have everything we need. I grab the two bowls and place them on the counter.
“First, the ice cream. Here's your spoon.”
I open the chocolate container and put two big spoons in my bowl. Then, I put two spoons of vanilla. Grayson chooses the caramel, chocolate, and vanilla.
“Hand me the chocolate syrup, please!” I said after I put the ice cream back in the refrigerator.
“Here you go.”
I pour it all over my ice cream. But, instead of closing it, a stupid idea pops into my head. I turn to Grayson and squirt the syrup all over him. I start laughing, as he stopped what he was doing.
“No, you did not.” he simply said, before turning slowly to me. I laugh harder, as I see his clothes covered in syrup.
“Yes, I did.”
“Okay then. You started this.”
He grabs the caramel syrup, opens it, and the next thing I know is that I'm covered in caramel, including my face.
“I just washed my hair today!” I cried, before grabbing the whipped cream. I open the tube, then splash the cream all over his face and body.
“This means war, Elizabeth,” he said seriously and I rolled my eyes.
“Bring it on, Bailey.”
I grab the icing and a few sprinkles, then hide behind the counter. I lift my head a little, but it was a stupid move. He throws chocolate chips at me, and they stick on the syrup. I gasp, looking at myself. Then, I grab the marshmallow bag and eat one before throwing a few at Grayson. He grabs the gummy bears and throws them at me. Again, they stick in my hair.
“Ok, enough! Stop! It's gonna stay stuck in my hair!” I said.
I look around the kitchen and see a total mess. Yeah, it was a pretty bad idea to fight with sweets.
“We have to clean up.”
“Wouldn't you rather wash your hair until all those stuff will be stuck in there forever?” he raised his eyebrows chuckling, and I roll my eyes.
“Good idea. Then, you stay here and clean everything.”
I turn around and head to the door when he grabs my hand and drags me back to him. I fall into his arms and groan.
“No! Now I'm covered in a double mess!” I scoffed and he laughed.
“So what? Kiss me.”
“No. Fuck off.” I pushed him away from me, then walked out of the kitchen.
“Fine then. I'm going home to get changed and grab some stuff, then I'll be back.”
"Sure you don't want to take a shower here?" I smirk, biting my lower lip slowly.
"As tempting as it sounds, I need clothes."
"Alright, do what you want. Get your car dirty, if that's your wish. But I want you back in thirty minutes. And stop to buy some pizza on your way back.” I said, as I walking him out.
