Sapphire’s p.o.v

I softly hummed as i was walking down the beach to the small little town on the coast. Steven said he wanted to have me and Ruby unfuse for the day for us all to have more fun. So me and Ruby did so. Even though Ruby didn’t really want to. Though i don’t fully mind because this allows me to think of some more privet things while we're unfused. Well they’re not super privet but in a way surprising the one you like with a present is hard to do if they can see the future visions they you are trying to see into. I know she never means to do it by mistake. Which i understand. Though when Steven suggested that i was a little glad because this allows me to relax and think more about the present. When i got to the boardwalk i stopped and thought as i felt the warm beach wind hit my face. The wind blowing a few of my long cyan blue strands of hair back before they all fell back into place.

A small chuckle left my lips as i started to walk down the boardwalk. None of the humans have really seen me aside from Greg and maybe Barbra one time though i don’t fully know there. Though i just simply walked thinking about some stuff while walking. As i looked into different futures while taking a moment or two to make sure i didn’t walk into anyone or anything i thought i heard something. So i stopped for a moment to listen incase i heard the noise again. Though i didn’t really hear anything aside from the people who are walking on the boardwalk talking to one another. So i just allowed myself to think that it was my imagination getting the best of me. After all that sound was very odd. It sounded like a young child crying. Plus if i wasn’t hearing things then the others around me would have reacted to the sound as well. Then again they probably thought it was their imaginations as well.

That was all i needed to settle my mind as i started to walk down the boardwalk again. A small hum coming from my lips as i walked. I smiled as i went up to an ice cream stand and got myself something. This ice cream stand was only open during the summer so the person who worked here would leave until it became summer again. “One strawberry ice cream scoop along with a vanilla scoop.” I hummed softly as i got a little bit of change out of my gem to pay for what i was getting. “Alright.” The man smiled as he handed me my ice cream. “Thank you.” I smiled as i walked off to the car wash. Greg wasn’t doing anything at this time and wasn’t going to open for another two hours since he sprained his wrist when working the other day. Steven wanted to heal it though he said that this would help him sleep in until his wrist heals on its own. “Hello Greg.” I looked up at the man as he was getting out of his van.

“Oh Sapphire… Did you and Ruby have a argument?” Greg questioned quietly as he took a seat on the edge of the back of the van. “No. Steven just wanted to us to be unfused for the day. This is giving me time to figure out a present for Ruby. Cause i don’t know what i should get.” I explained as i took a seat beside him and licked my ice cream again. “I see. Well what do you normally get her?” Greg smiled as he wanted to help. “Well normally i would get flowers or chocolate. Cause anything complicated i would want to do would be found out by her accidentally seeing the future vision through Garnet’s eyes.” I explained as i continued to lick away at the ice cream. “I see. Well maybe you could get her a puppy or a kitten.” He suggested with a smile. “A pet?” I thought about it and smiled a little. “That does sound nice, but we already have lion.” I reminded him and sighed slightly.
