Another random one shot. I thought this would be a cute little chapter. So i decided to make it. ^^

In this your a human who is born mute. You haven’t been able to speak a word your whole life. Though once you’ve moved to beach city you meet so many people you want to talk to. Though the one you really want to talk to is the short green tech gem herself Peridot.

You thought as you were walking down the boardwalk. The sky was clear with a few white clouds along with a bright sun. The breeze was warm and felt so nice on your s/c skin. Today was your first day in Beach city. You just moved here with your best friend Heather. She’s a goth though she’s also super sweet. You were heading out to get some donuts for breakfast since neither of you could get groceries for eggs, bread, or anything at the moment. Especially since the two of you are still unpacking everything. As you walked you looked at the sign for the donut shop. ‘Big donut.’ You thought to yourself before walking into the building. Smiling at the different donut smells along with the smell of coffee. ‘Coffee and donuts perfect for breakfast before a massive unpacking.’ You thought before going over to the coffee machine and grabbed two cups for coffee.

Normally you weren’t much of a coffee person but since they didn’t have any tea then it was better than nothing. “Hello Beach babe.” A voice said making you jump and almost dropped the half full coffee cup. You held the half full cup and empty cup as you looked at the person that was leaning on the freezer and had this grin on his face. ‘He’s trying to hit on me? Sweet but sadly not my type.’ You thought and shook your head at him. You filled your friend’s cup up with dark coffee and added some sugar while you got yourself a coffee with cream and sugar. “Oh come on aren’t you gonna talk to me?” The man questioned. From what he was wearing the guy worked here. “Lars leave her alone.” The lady behind the counter sighed as you went over to her. “Sorry about him. With all the new girls and people coming here he thinks he can hit up with one.” She explained with an annoyed expression on her face.

You nodded and placed the two coffees on the counter before looking at all the donuts there was. ‘A baker's dozen no two. Yeah two baker’s dozens. Now what type of donuts should i grab? Chocolate obviously. Wait is that a donut dog? What then what?’ You thought and stared at some of the donuts you’ve never seen before. ‘Bacon donuts! Okay now i’ve seen never mind peanut butter and jelly donuts.’ You mentally giggled to yourself at some of the cool yummy looking donuts. You then looked at the lady behind the counter and smiled. “So what’ll it be?” She asked with a kind smile. You smiled and sign language the donuts you wanted to get though you simple left her confused. ‘Guess they’ve never meet a mute person before. Eh wouldn’t be the first time this has happened.’ You thought before grabbing a napkin and started to write on it.

-I would like to get two baker’s dozen on donuts. Six powdered, two of those donut dog things. Two bacon donuts my friend might really love them, and Two peanut butter and jelly donuts in one box. In the other box can you put four glazed donuts, three cinnamon apple, and four cream filled donuts in the other box please.- You wrote and gave it to her. “Oh alright. Sorry that i didn’t understand your sign language. I’m a little rusty. By the way my names Sadie you must be new here.” Said said with a smile as she worked. You nodded and wrote on the napkin again. -Me and my friend just moved here not too long ago. Can’t make any breakfast until everything is unpacked so this is a good of breakfast as anything else would.- You wrote in a jokingly way at the end. “ Yeah donuts are pretty good breakfast items. Also those coffees are on the house since you and your friend. I would say the donuts but your getting two baker’s dozen. Me and Lars still need to get our paychecks one way or another.” Sadie joked and smiled.
