I remember doing a Peridot x paralyzed reader story once so I thought why hot give this a try.
For those that doesn’t know what Paraplegic means. It means you're paralyzed. Like you are in this story. Your whole life you’ve been in a wheelchair. Back when it was Steven’s birthday you went to see them. In a way it started to become a hard thing but it was worth it to see the gems up at the barn. Though when you meet Lapis she became someone that you start to become interested in.

Y/n’s p.o.v

Your hands rested on the wheels of your wheelchair. Panting as you were taking a small break from your trip. You were going to visit Lapis and Peridot and give them a few things that you don’t really use any more. After all they might have more use in it then yourself. You sighed and tried to cover yourself in the shade of a small tree. The trip was so long and hard for you to make on your own. Though you didn’t want to bother others to help you out. Especially since you do this every week end. Though you did guess you picked the wrong day to do this. It was pretty sunny when you started your trip though the sky started to darken not to long ago. Which told you that you needed to hurry to get to the barn before it started to rain. Because from the looks of the clouds it was going to start raining hard any minute now. Which’ll make your trip even harder if you rest any more.

You nodded your head to yourself and started on your trip to the barn as a crack of thunder went through the sky. ‘Great i’m going to be stuck in the rain.’ You thought to yourself as you finally got up the last hill you needed to travel over. Now it was nothing but a simple dirt road with some turns and a few small bumps. “Well i better get going.” You said to yourself as you started to make your way down. As you traveled you softly hummed to yourself as you felt a few raindrops land on your h/l h/c hair. “So much for getting there dry.” You muttered under your breath as you kept moving forward. It was pretty hard for anything to hold you back because of how stubborn you were. Whenever it came to something you’d keep going and keep trying over and over until you give up, and even then you still try. That was the one annoying thing about your personality.

Your stubbornness and determination always got in the way. You thought and looked up at the sky as it continued to rain. The cold raindrops did feel pretty nice on your face. Helped cool you off. While you went around one of the turns a bolt of lightning came down from the sky and hit the side of your wheelchair. Your wheelchair falling to the side and making you crash into the ground. Mud covering your s/c skin getting on your f/c top and shorts, as well as in your hair and on your face. “Ouch..” You muttered and looked at your hand as you badly scraped it on a rock. You thought and tried to clean the mud off the best you could before looking at your wheelchair. The left wheel was popped and you wouldn’t be able to get the thing back up or get back on even if you wanted to. You were stuck. Stuck in the rain and mud until someone starts looking for you. So you tried to at least cover your head with a jacket that you brought. The jacket is a bright pink one that your mom gave you. Even though you didn’t like it, it was better than nothing.

Lapis’s p.o.v

I thought as i stared at the pouring rain. Peridot was doing her own thing and i kept an eye out for Y/n in case they decided to come today. Though i wouldn’t understand why they would want to come during this bad weather. Then again it was pretty clear earlier today and might have not thought it was going to rain this badly. “You think Y/n is coming?” I questioned and looked at Peridot. “In that weather no way. Their probably at home waiting for the storm to pass.” Peridot said as she was looking on her tablet for something to do. “Well… Could you call Steven? So he could see if their home safe?” I asked kindly and looked at her with worried filled eyes. “Are you that worried?” Peridot asked as she lightly tilted her head. “Yes. I don’t know why but i just have this bad feeling like something happened to them.” I said honestly before looking out at the rain again.
