Big Hero 6 Our First (Tadashi X Reader)

First Meal

It's already late night right after I had unpacked my things. There was a knock on the door followed by the voice. "Are you inside?" it was Hiro.

"Ye-yes!" damn I just stuttered.
"Aunt Cass said its time for dinner." Hiro said.

Before he could continue, I opened the sliding door and stood face to face with him. He looked at me blankly, scanning me from top to bottom. "Is-is something on my face?" I asked.

He shook his head slightly. "Nope. Come on. "

Weird, but that didn't bother me. I then just followed him to the first floor where the other two were preparing the food. Aunt Cass who just sat down saw me and called me to sit down next to her.

It was a round table serving some soup on each of our bowl and a few bread in the middle. Tadashi came last with some red chicken wings. Red... as in... spicy? I hope not.

Once every settle down, Tadashi then sat next to me. So close, my mind was screaming silently. "Today we are celebrating for Jessi, who arrived to San Fransokyo and also her acceptance into the college like Tadashi." Aunt Cass announced. "That's why I had cooked hot wings as a celebration and- Hiro! I'm not done yet!"

Hiro already dig in and grabbed a few chicken wings into his empty bowl. Tadashi then helped me to get some of the wings in case I couldn't reach it. I thanked him shyly without noticing him blushing. Being caution, I took a small bite of the wings and began to chew it. OK, it's safe to eat but then,  I spoke too soon.

As soon as my tongue touches the chicken skin, my whole body is looking for water. I tried my very best to stay calm while my eyes quickly scan for water but there were non on the table. Not long, Tadashi came back with some cold water, "Here, drink this. "

"Th-thanks... " I took the glass of water and and take a one shot of it. Aunt Cass who was watching the whole thing said, "Looks like you can't handle the spice. I should had ask you before hand." she said in an apologetic way.

"N-no, your chicken wings were nice. I wasn't ready yet." I said, to make it sound that it wasn't her fault.

"Maybe you try to dip with this milky cheese sauce. This can reduce the spicyness." Tadashi then gave me some sauce. At first, I hesitate, give it another try, I dipped the wings into the sauce and ate it. From there, my eyes went wide.

"It's nice. Not spicy at all. " I commented and continue eating the wings until the plates were empty. I then helped Aunt Cass washing the dishes. After washing all the dishes, I realised that Tadashi was not in the living room as I wanted to know where will he be sleeping if I took his bed.

Thinking that he would be upstairs, I went up and found out that he wasn't there either, only Hiro. "Excuse me Hiro, may I know where is your brother? "

"Big bro? He went to his lab school already. He got assignment to do. Why? " Hiro asked.
"Well I want to know where will he be sleeping if I actually right now, sleeping in his bedroom?"

"He will be sleeping with me or maybe in the lab. These days his project kept him busy until he always forget the time. He will be back like maybe tomorrow morning." Hiro explained. "You should go to sleep early, you later need to go to that school right? "

After saying goodnight and went to bed, I then began to feel nervous for tomorrow. Hope it will be successful.

Goodnight today and good morning tomorrow.

I had cooked the hot wings, just like the recipe I had learned from Aunt Cass, but it turns out that she couldn't handle spiciness. It was a failure. Luckily I didn't get the courage to say that I cooked that dish. Even Aunt Cass had help me to apologize too. I took a huge sigh as I recall the situation.

"Don't worry Tadashi, there's always next time to please her. " Aunt Cass said. She knew too?!
"That brat... " I sigh as I thought my little bro had told her about it but end up, no.

"Don't blame your brother, he hasn't say a word yet. You just being obvious."
"A-am I?"
"If not then why you suddenly want to do the cooking, sitting next to her, serve her, looking at her while she's eating? " Aunt Cass said as she list out all the things I had done during dinner. Hearing all this made my face flushed red again. Am I really that Obvious?

After dinner, Jessi went to my bedroom which I lend her, once she saw me, she went up to me and said, "Don't mind if I ask but... is that suppose to be your room?"

"Yes, pretty comfortable right?" I smiled. I slowly realised, her expression become something that she couldn't accept.

"Bu- but where are you going to sleep? I realise that this is the only room." 

She gave me that look when she was worried about me, I keep my  face calm but I am screaming in my mind now, her face, so cute. "It's fine, these days I'm quite busy so I'll be staying in my lab in the uni."

"You sure?"

"Sure, and if I come back, I might either sleep with Hiro or at the sofa. I'm totally fine with it."

Talking back and forth about the bed, we both end up agree to sleep together next time I come back...
