"A party? Already?" Tori questions, while sitting on the ground with back leaned up against the truck of the tree. I lie on the ground with my head rested a top of Dustin's leg as he strokes my hair out of my face. I close my eyes as everyone talks.

"Yeah, my dad is out of town for the week. I have the weekend home alone. That means party. Think of it as a beginning of the school year party." Louis says, as his arm is wrapped around Hannah.

"Or like a welcome back for Tori... we haven't seen you all summer." Hannah's voice seemed calm but happy at the same time. I sit up from Dustin's lap, glancing across the yard seeing the pasty girl from early that day. Ours made contact as she stands there staring at us. Just like this morning.

"Hey, I'll be right back." I quickly kiss Dustin on the cheek before getting up. I adjust my shorts before making my over to the girl. She watched me as I walked over. In seconds I was standing before her.

"Hi, I'm sorry about happened today. My friend isn't the friendliest." I smile at her with an apologetic voice. She nods, tighting her grip on the book she held.

"it's fine I didn't know that was... your guy's tree." Her voice was cold and tone less. She is new, I know of it. I have never seen her and I knew everyone in Rockford. Small town.

"I'm Michelle... and you are?" I held my hand out to shake hers.

"Kerry..." She stared at my hand before shaking it. Her hand was light and delicate.

"I'm having a party this weekend for my friend you should stop by. To get to know people and stuff. Ya know." I smile trying to keep conversation. I felt bad about what happened earlier today with Hannah.

"Parties aren't my scene... I always get bored to death." With that she turned, walking off without another word. When she left it felt like I could breathe easier. Like she was keeping the air stale.

"Does this look good on me?" I say, checking out my body in the mirror stretched across the closet doors. A light pink skin tight mini dress fits my body in all the right spots. The dress paired with white pumps completed a good girl look.

"You look like the girl from Legally Blonde. So hot." Tori says, glancing in the mirror at me. She fixes her hair before standing up from the vanity. "I would kill for a body like yours." She states as she walks over to next to me. Her black tube top matched with a mini black skirt. Totally clashing with my outfit.

"What do you mean?" I giggle with my response to her. She giggles before it was cut off of the sound of the doorbell. "Dustin's here. You ready?"

"I'm always ready for a party, Shelly." We both laugh, making our way out of my bedroom. The doorbell ringing every other second.

"I'm coming! Calm down!" I quickly rush down the stairs with Tori following me. I make my way to the front door opening the door. Dustin's brighten up face looks back at me as he looks me up and down. A small smirk grows on my face causing me to playfully hit his arm. "Come on. Let's go."

"Anywhere with you hot stuff." I follow him out along side Tori. I close the door behind me. I glance up at Dustin's truck seeing Lance in the passenger seat. He turns to us, rolling down the car window.

"Ladies in the back. I'm not giving up my seat." Lance shouts with a smile. Quickly looking at Tori. Making a wink to her. Dustin grabs my hand causing me to look up at him.

"Hey, so my sister wanted to come with. She's just gonna ride with us but she will go her own way once we get there." He says with a apologetic tone in his voice.

"It's cool. I like your sister." I quickly flash a smile at him before he lets go of my hand to go to the other side of the truck. I walk over to Tori as she opens the back doors looking in. "Hey Melody." I smile up at her as Tori climbs in before me.

"I'll be out of your guy's hair. I just needed a ride." Melody says holding her camera with a bag at her feet. "I don't really do parties but how else am I going to keep my job at the Rockford news company. I need stories." I climb in after Tori, closing the door behind me. I nod buckling up.

"I forgot you still got that internship-" I manage to say before being cut off by Lance.

"Here I got a story, headline reads, Any Single Ladies Looking for A Fun Night Call Up Lance Michael." Lance says turning around to face Melody. His voice suddenly gets calm and seductive, "or another, Melody Peterson Has A Fun Night and Here Are The Juicy Details." Silence quickly fell over the car before Dustin speaks up with a harsh tone.

"Touch her. I will kill you." Dustin glares over at Lance. He turns from Melody keeping eye contact with Dustin. A smile grows on Dustin's face as he turns forward towards the road. His car pulls up onto a long drive way as loud music starts to arise. "Party time."
