The school went into lockdown. The school was crawling with officers. Emptying out everyones lockers. Searching the students. All students were sent to the gym except of Louis's closest friends. The five of us trapped in the teacher's lounge. Police stand guard on the outside of the room to give us space.
The sound of Hannah's whimpering filled the room. I can not believe Louis is dead. Murdered by this killer. The killer who has been texting me.
I glance out the windows from the teachers lounge into the hallway seeing the police escorting Kerry.
"That bitch. She did this," I turn to see Hannah stand up from the couch walking over to the door, opening it. "You psycho bitch did this! You killed Louis!" Hannah tries to go at Kerry but is stopped by officers.
"Hannah, calm down. Everything is fine. We will find who did this to Louis." Tori stands from the couch walking over to Hannah.
"Calm down?! Everything is fine?! Louis is dead!" Hannah screams, which leads into a sob. She lets herself go, falling to the floor. Lance walks over picking up Hannah, walking her back to the couch. Tori closes the door to the lounge.
"We will all calm down. Okay? The police are going to question us soon. When you go in you can't be angry. I know Louis is gone but we will find out who did this." Lance places Hannah down on the couch as Tori walks over sitting down next to her.
I look down at my phone remembering the texts.
"I think I might have a clue or something that might help." I speak up, pulling up the texts with the unknown contact. I hand my phone to him as he walks over.
"Are your finger prints going to end up on the next weapon or will the weapon be in you?" Dustin repeats the first text sent to me from the number. He looks up at me. "Someone threatened to kill you and you didn't tell us till now?"
"I guess I thought it was a prank at first but then they texted me again saying 'spying is rude'."
"Who were you spying on?" Dustin questions me, looking up from my phone.
"I don't know, some freshmen when I went to go get some air." I lied, I couldn't tell Dustin that I saw Lance and Melody together. Him touching her. Dustin always and forever will consider Lance a frat boy. Sleeping with girls and having no emotions for them.
"What does it mean by 7?" Dustin shrugs off my response going back to reading my texts.
"Well, I asked who they were and they said '7' and that's it. When we found Louis's body. On the wall it said '1 down' then I got a text-"
"6 to go" Dustin says finishing my sentence.
"I also glanced at Hannah's phone when Lance texted you to meet him in the bathroom. He said something about 7 minutes. This might be a guess but I don't think Louis sent that text." I say looking at Hannah.
"You're saying the killer wanted me to find his body." Hannah's beat up voice cracked as she spoke.
"I don't know, but it's one hell of a coincidence then." I grab my phone from Dustin, shadows from outside the window pass by. I turn to see the sheriff, then a text tone on my phone.
'Tell the police about me and I'll take Hannah this time.'

I cautiously walk into the classroom as the sheriff closes the door behind me.
"Take a seat Michelle Stewart. A couple questions and you'll be out." He smiles at me as I sit down. He takes his spot in front of me as a table divides us. "I am sorry about your friend." I nod. All I can do is nod. I don't know what to say.
"Michelle, how do you know Louis Walter?" He begins to question me without hesitation.
"I never really knew him till last year. He is my best friends boyfriend." I answer, my voice shaky.
"Your friend Hannah?" I nod to his question. "What were you doing the hour before his body was found?"
"My friends and I were at lunch," I look down remembering Melody and Lance. "I did leave for a couple minutes to get some air as Greg's death was getting to me."
"Do you know Greg?"
"Oh, no. I don't know. It's just that I've never been in this situation. I have been scared lately. I can't sleep without seeing... his body." I keep my head down, as I start fiddling with my hands.
"I understand. Okay and last thing. Can you place your hand on this template?" He slides a paper with a drawn hand on it. I place my hand on it, my hand being much smaller than it.
"What's this for?" I say looking up at the officer.
"I don't want to go into detail but we are just checking hand sizes to those found on Louis." He pulls the paper away from me as he stands nodding for me to leave. "Thank you for your time."
I nod back to him, standing up, quickly leaving the room making my way back to the lounge. The officers watch me as I open the door, I walk in as all eyes are on me. I close the door behind me. The sound of my phone rings with another text. I pull out my phone to another text from unknown,
'I will give you all the juicy details.'
"It's them again..." I speak up as Dustin and Lance walk to look at the text. Just then another text comes through. A video. "Should I play it?" Before I could get an answer Lance reaches over pressing play.
It's an overhead shot of the boys bathroom. Louis walks in which he is quickly followed in by a person dressed in a black, baggy clothes. My mystery person, wearing gloves and a mask, quickly grips ahold of Louis's neck dragging him over to the stall. The hooded person pushes Louis down onto his knees and starts to repeatedly crush Louis head into the toilet seat.
Another text pops up above the video, still playing.
