It happened so fast.
The keys fumble in my shaky hands as I start the car. My heart racing.
I was so scared.
I back out of the driveway heading to the Peterson house, preparing myself for what I'd to come.
There was so much blood.
I reach for my phone dialing Lance. Voice mail.
"Lance! The killer is at Dustin's house! Please hurry!"
I didn't know what to do but call my friends.
I pull up to the house seeing the front door open. The front house lights on in the dark night. I park the car, running out towards the house. I stop at the open door. The house sounds empty.
When I got there it seemed empty.
I throw caution to the side and step inside. The floorboards creak under me as I step in. I make my way to the kitchen. I start scrambling through the drawers, grabbing out a knife.
I needed something to defend myself.
A thud comes from outside, out by the pool. I slowly walk with knife in hand. I reach the back door, slowly opening it.
The moonless night casted no light over the back yard. I hear a whimper coming from the other side of the pool. I slowly step out, causing the motion sensor lights to turn on.
Tori stood covered in blood. She held her arm.
I was sure she was the killer.
"Tori? Where's Dustin?" I stood with the knife pointed toward her. My voice was shaky with fear.
"Help me." She spat out with blood. I glance down to her a large gash found on her arm.
"Who did that?" I said keeping my distance as Tori slowly makes her way over from the other side of the pool.
"Listen, the killer is in the house. Their face was covered but Dustin and Melody are somewhere in the house." She spoke up to my question. She made her way over to me.
I look up at the house seeing a light turn on in a window upstairs.
The killer was in Dustin's room.
Suddenly the window bursts into pieces. I grab my head, ducking, blocking my head from the glass. A large objects hit the ground, causing a large thud. I look up my heart drops. Dustin lies there, blood splattered across the cement.
His body was lifeless.
I run over to him, tears falling from my eyes. I sit down next to him, placing down the knife. I pick up his head placing it on my lap.
"Dustin? Dustin!?" I begin to sob as I stare down at his frozen eyes, locked onto the night sky. My body numb as my sobs grow louder. I pull him closer to my body, his body limp and lifeless.
"Michelle? We have to go." Tori runs up to me as she keeps her eyes up on the broke window.
"We can't... we can't." My sobs overcome my voice as I keep ahold of him, running my fingers through his wet hair. I open my eyes seeing my hands covered in his blood.
