Mysteriously Beautiful

Chapter 3: Director

Camera. Lights. Action.

Sam would always wanted to be a movie director. She was a graduate of MasCom course.

She hope that she could direct a fantasy movie or a historical dramas that are iconic.

But there are times that she wonders how common it was to film stories as such.
She thought of making difference by coming up with rare idea.

She's excited yet calm believing that time will soon come for her turn to show something unseen by the world.

She wants to capture the mind of criticism and hatred.

She end up being an assistant director of concerts and theatre play.

Monica was a well-known soloist violinist.
She had an exemptional skills in playing violin.

It was the day of the concert and Sam had finally check out if Monica's costume for the concert arrived prior the expected time. She went earlier than anyone could ever come in the venue. The guards allowed her because she had an ID.

She checked the dress and it so stunning. A black wavy dress whose length levels her toe.

The costume director and stylist arrived. Monica and the staff arrived too.

Make-up artist begun to make Monica prettier as she is.

The lights and microphones were checked several times.

The big event is soon to happen. A concert of Music artist and instrumental plays. Acapella and bands.

Monica was a guest of the concert that will surprisingly perform among the last performers.

She is famous for being a violinist. A professional violinist.

Audience begun to fill the seats , tickets were sold out just as before the event.

Then after an hour, the concert started at the exact time specified on the tickets.

Sounds and music echoed in the stadium. It was an exciting experience.

How odd it is that music can unify person's heart.

Sam had accidentally stumble on the dressing room when she warned Monica that she needs to get ready soon. She slid into the maniquen where Monica's costume was place . Sam had held the cloth and accidentally ripped it. When she was about to stand , she stepped on it's lengthy gown and held the maniquen's shoulder and slip off again as she rolled with the maniquen. The black long wavy dress was torn out. Its design was totally ruined.

Monica complained that she won't go to the stage wearing that ruined gown. She don't want to be embarrassed in front of her fans.
She told them she'll go if they find her something decent to wear . A dress slightly similar with her costume.

They've run out of time and Monica doesn't want any of those costumes given to her as a choice.

Sam doesn't know what to do. She knew Monica very well. If she don't want to do it, she won't.

She said she would just tell the staff that she had valid reasons . Where is the professionalism ?

Huge number of audience await her presence.

Monica insisted she would not come at all and went into a private room in the dressing room and Lock the door.

Sam told herself that she ruined the concert.

She hopelessly sat on the floor of the private room , As she looks at the  maniquen, the ruined wavy long black dress was gone.

Then the audience was silent as they were all looking at the stage. Someone was playing a lovely music from violin. The dim lights matches the music. It was a piece no one had ever played. Sam had doubt who it was.The light was so dim that they could hardly recognize her, so since it was Monica's part, they all assumes it was her.  She knew what Monica would play. She heard her practice several times and the piece played by the girl on the stage was not the one Monica had been long practicing since the concert was announced.

Could there be anyone tricking them? Sam was puzzled.

The sound seems familiar. She had once heard it somewhere. She forgot where and when.
