Chapter 10: Gone mad

Sam was sitting on her refreshing corner. Her powders, and other beauty kit , and products were resting on her white table which has been especially alloted for those things.

Towel was still on her hair and she took it away and let her hair hang softly. She held the hair drier and the strong warm air runs into her hair. She was in deep thinking. What if Aleca found out about the video .She knew she'll discover it soon. She was sure that Aleca would conclude that she was the one who uploaded it. She was the only one Aleca had traveled with riding on a bus into Gellen's place.

She suddenly look at the mirror and saw her reflection and a reflection of a woman standing behind her.

She was feirceful. Her eyes were wild and mad. Her hands were parallel against her thigh resting along her waist. She was her. Aleca.

Sam had stop for a while and put down the hair drier. She was still looking at the mirror. Her heart beat fast. She was scared as if she was seeing a stranger. As if the woman behind her was someone else.

She felt the sudden change of the atmosphere when she saw Aleca on the mirror. She can't turn around to meet her eyes. Sam knew she had done something that Aleca would never be happy with.

She is not the one who uploaded the video. It might be her friend Lowela she thought.
She was in tense. She knew Aleca don't listen to explanations. She knew Aleca does not want excuses.

Aleca was still standing behind her.
Sam hope she was just having an hallucination.

She blinked and the image and reflection of the woman did not disappeared. Its real. She was there for real. Standing behind her, waiting for her to turn around and face her.

Aleca was standing there like an angel sent from above. Her face wasn't as innocent as she was when sleeping. Her eyes were burning like fire. She was mad. Sam didn't realize how it is important for Aleca to stay hidden . Aleca was trying to bury her past but now that she was known by the world, she had no escape but to face the fact that everyone will soon find out the truth.
It might not be today or the next five months but she knew people would start knowing the secrets she hid long ago.

Stardom makes individual's life became an open book. People will start digging relevant information about you and reveal it.

Sam was scared.

Aleca couldn't stop herself from the evilness that tempted her to hurt somebody.

She is not a psycho but she had almost lost her mind seeing what might happen after the world had seen her.

She was holding a knife.
Sam was looking at her hand.
Sam seems not to expect Aleca would be holding a knife against her.

Sam slowly stood up, still looking at the mirror. Seeing Aleca's fierce image from it.

Sam wanted to shout for fear, she was worried about her parents who had been downstairs. Did Aleca killed them?

Sam was quiet. She listened and was hoping to hear her mother's voice from the garden outside or her father's voice calling and asking her mom to give him coffee.

She listened carefully. She was shaking nervously inside.

She again look at Aleca's knife. There was blood from it. A lot of fresh blood. Blood drops into the floor like in a slow motion like how graphic designer and movie directors told movie editors to creatively get a shot of rain drops into a slow motion.

Sam realized that Aleca killed her parents.

"N...n....no..." Sam whispered and sobbed.
"It...it can't ...be." Sam's felt her knees had soften and that her heart aches as if she can't breathe. She lift her hand and touch her chest. She felt she can't stand for long and that she would fall anytime soon.

The thought of seeing her parents murdered by Aleca made her feel she was hanged up side down and felt like her heart has been drag with Thirty needles.

How could Aleca killed them? Why would she do that? Isn't it because of the video?

Sam can't accept the fact that the reason behind it was as small as picking flowers on the garden and shared its beauty to your neighbors.

Sam decided to give justice for her love ones.

Will she turn around, look at Aleca and grab that knife from her and used it to her instead if she fights back and tried to murder her too?

She bravely turn around and face Aleca.
Aleca's face had gone mad.

She was still holding that bloody knife.

Sam started to walk slowly towards Aleca.

Sam was afraid but she wanted justice.

Aleca was her friend and she admired her so much for being so damn independent but she had gone beyond the law of land. She killed Sam's love ones.

Sam had felt hatred instead of pity and love.

Love for friendship disappeared like how the wind blew the ashes.
