Chapter 6: sleepover?

A/N: Here's another chapter hehe, it's longer than the others. Btw English isn't my main language so if you notice any mistakes, please point them out for me!

Chapter 6: sleepover?

After Luffy had stepped inside the house, Law closed the door behind him. He led the boy to his living room and told him to make himself at home.

Luffy looked around and beamed. "Woah! Your house is even cooler from the inside torao!" The living room is coloured in white and grey with grey leather sofas and a small coffee table before it. There's a marble fireplace against the wall and laminating flooring with a TV placed in the corner.

Law couldn't help but grin at that comment. "Why thank you. Would you like something to drink first?"

"Ah...no I'm good, thanks.." Luffy took his bag pack from his back and sat down on the couch. Law came to sit next to him.

"Let's start with the subject you're having the most trouble with. That would be math right?"

"Yeah.." Luffy replied and opened his bag, taking out his math book and giving it to Law. It wasn't necessarily math he found difficult. He had trouble with all of his subjects actually. But he already knew the reason why.

Law opened it and flipped some pages. He asked Luffy questions to see how much he already knew. The teacher then started explaining him the basics of equations.

His voice was deep and strong, in a pleasant way. It was attractive and somehow mysterious. Luffy hears his voice everyday at school but he still can't get enough of it.

He bit his lip as he watched the man next to him. He just couldn't take his eyes away from him. His heart fluttered when he noticed how close they were sitting. Luffy's eyes trailed from his teacher's eyes to his lips. Weird... Luffy had never had the urge to kiss someone, he always assumed he was just asexual as he never showed any interest in having a relationship.

"...Is there something in my face, Luffy-ya?" Law asked him, taking the boy away from his thoughts. He had realized that Luffy was staring at him for a while now.

Not that it was bothering him.

"N-no, it's nothing!" Luffy replied, feeling his face heating up. He lowered his head and played with the hem of his shirt.

Law noticed the changing expression on the younger boy's face. He looked cute with his cheeks flushed like that. Was it him that made Luffy all flustered?

The teacher smirked and placed his hand on Luffy's thigh. "Want to take a break?"

He nodded and looked at Law's hand, blushing even more at the sudden contact.

"I uh.. like your tattoos..."

"Oh really?" The man raised an eyebrow. People would normally be scared of him because of his tattoos. There was 'dead' written on his fingers after all.

Luffy blushed and looked up at him with a smile on his face. "They're a bit creepy but I like 'em."

'And I like you' Luffy wanted to add but kept his mouth shut.

"Hmm.. " Law looked into his eyes and smiled softly.

Luffy didn't notice how close they were now, he could even feel the older man's breath on his face. He didn't blink, nor did he look away. His eyes were locked on his teacher only. Luffy saw him looking at his lips and leaned in, their noses almost touching.

The younger boy didn't know what was happening to him. His heart beat was increasing and he felt all warm inside.
Was he really going to kiss him?

They were suddenly pulled out of trance by a buzzing of a phone.

Law pulled back and took out his phone from his pocket. Luffy let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. He adverted his gaze to the other side. Feeling embarrased.
He really wanted torao to kiss him.

Law looked at the screen and put his phone away again.

"Aren't you gonna pick up?" Luffy asked.

"It's not important.. anyway, do you want something to eat?"

Luffy's stomach began growling at that question.

"Guess you're hungry." Law chuckled and stood up, "I'll be right back." He walked away into what Luffy asumed was the kitchen. Luffy watched him until he dissapeared from his sight. He let out a sigh. Would they really have kissed if it wasn't for that phone?

Luffy yawned and leaned back into the couch. Guess he will never find out... He closed his eyes and waited for Law to return. Thinking about what would have happend if they really kissed. Does torao feel the same way towards him?

"Tired?"

He shot up and opened his eyes to see Law standing before him. He didn't even heard him coming.

"No I'm fine.." He replied and rubbed his eyes.

"You're a bad liar." He smiled and sat down beside him. Luffy saw he had a plate with some appetizers on it. He handed it to him. "Here. Eat as much as you want."

Luffy thanked him and began eating. He finished them all in record time. Law kept looking at him the entire time with a small smile on his face. He liked the kid.

He glanced at his watch, "We should hurry. It's getting late and I still would want to teach the last chapter."

Luffy nodded and placed the plate on the coffee table. He turned back to Law who had already taken the math book. Torao began teaching again and Luffy still didn't know what it was all about but decided to not ask any questions.

10 minutes passed and Law was almost done. He asked Luffy a question to see if he understood what he was saying. He didn't receive an answer so he looked at Luffy who had his eyes closed. Was he sleeping?

He nudged his side, "Oi, Luffy-ya?"

Nothing.

He really was sleeping huh? What should he do now? Waking him up would seem the most logical option. The boy's head fell on his shoulder. He had a peacefull expression on his face. His mouth slightly open and his chest slowly rising and falling.

Law smiled. He really didn't want to wake him up. But he had to go home. His family would be worried if he didn't came back. He gently poked the boy's cheek in order to wake him up. But Luffy still didn't answer.

He then layed his head on top of Luffy's. His hair was tickling his nose. 'So soft..' Law thought and  didn't even notice what he was doing.

He closed his eyes and fell asleep while listening to the soft breathings of the boy next to him.
