Hot teacher? (Law x Luffy)

Chapter 10: detention

A/N: My exams are approaching so I'll be updating less.. I'll still try to write as much as I can xD

Chapter 10: detention

School was finally over, too bad he had to stay an hour more in detetion. He had forgotten his lunch but his friends helped him out and gave him some of their food. That's why he loves them so much. But having a bottomless stomach, he was still hungry. Now he was waiting in front of his classroom. His teacher told him to wait for him here. He was so bored. His friends had already left and there was no one to talk to. Luffy looked up at the ceiling. He hoped he would be home before his brothers. They would be mad if they found out he had detention.

He heard footsteps approaching him so he looked to his right where he saw his teacher walking towards him. "Hello again, Luffy-ya." he smiled softly and grabbed his keys to open the door. It took Luffy a while to answer, "Uh.. hello.."

Law opened the classroom door and let Luffy enter first, "You can sit there." He pointed at the desk in front of the teacher's desk. The younger boy nodded and sat down where he was supposed to sit. Law took a paper out of his bag and handed it over to Luffy, "It's a task, hand it in when you're finished."

"And what if I'm not ready when the hour is over?" He asked.

"Well then  you'll have to stay longer." The teacher walked over to his own desk and sat down.

"That sucks.." he mumbled to himself.

"It's your punishment for being late too many times." Law looked at the kid in front of him.

"It's not my fault!" He pouted and looked at the window.

"You better start writing if you want to leave early."

Luffy let out a sigh. He took a pen from his bag and started writing, occasionally looking up at torao. Luffy smiled to himself while looking at him. The teacher was coreccting some tests, looking pretty hot while doing so.

He suddenly remembered what had happened Friday and Saturday. Was torao mad at him for falling asleep and not paying attention? He didn't look mad to him. But woudn't it be polite to say sorry? Or would it be weird to bring it up? Yeah.. maybe Law doesn't want to talk about it..

Law caught him looking again. He smiled and stood up, walking towards Luffy, "Is there something you don't understand?" He leanded closer, both his hands on Luffy's desk. Their faces only inches apart. The younger boy shook his head and hid his blushing face under his strawhat. "No.. it's fine.."

"Hmm.." Law didn't move from his place, what made Luffy wonder why he was still standing so close. He looked up at the man and saw him staring back. Luffy didn't avert his gaze this time. He was lost again in those beautiful grey eyes of him. They looked in each other eyes for what seemed decades.

"Torao has pretty eyes..." Luffy said dreamily. Wait a minute.. Did he just say those words out loud?! He blushed madly, he didn't want to say that! But he did and now, he can't take them back.  "Uh.. I-I mean.."

Law chuckled, clearly not having expected Luffy to say that. He placed his hand on the boy's shoulder and moved closer, "Well Luffy-ya is very pretty too." Law whispered in his ear.

Luffy's mouth fell open and his face turned a few shades darker than it had already been. He closed his mouth, not knowing how to respond.

He just stared at his teacher who was now walking back to his own desk.

"A-about  Friday.." Luffy started. He slapped himself mentally. Seriously? Couldn't he keep his mouth shut for once?

"Yes?" Law asked and sat down, keeping his gaze on Luffy.

"I.. uh..I"m sorry for falling asleep.. It wasn't like I wasn't paying attention or anything, not at all! I must have drifted off or something.. because math is boring and all.. B-but you aren't boring! I-mean.."

His teacher laughed, "Woah, slow down!"

"S-sorry.." Luffy looked down, why was he so awkward with torao?

"It's fine, I didn't mind at all. You were tired and I didn't want to wake you up so I just let you sleep."

"Oh.. well thanks.." He looked back at Law and smiled. He was glad that torao wasn't mad at him. "I uh.. I'll go back to work now.."

"Yes, you wouldn't want to stay longer now would you?" He teased.

Luffy grinned and started to work again. He'll do his best this time and make torao proud of him!
