Chapter 16: Date

Chapter 16: Date

"Are we almost there?" Luffy whined as he grew impatient. They've been in the car for quite some time and his hands were getting tired from holding them up to cover his eyes.

"Yes, just a few more minutes." The man replied.

Luffy wanted to know where they were going but Law just won't tell him. He wanted to look out of the window but Law told him not to move his hands away from his eyes. Were they going to a restaurant? Or maybe to the movies? That's were people normally go on a date to, right? Hehe, a date. He still foud it hard to believe that they were actually together. They agreed to keep their relationship a secret until Luffy graduated because he wouldn't want Law to lose his job. He knew it was kinda wrong to date his teacher but yeah... you can't stop love can you?

Luffy suddenly felt the car come to a stop, "We're here?"

Law got out of the car and made his way over to the boy, "Almost, but we can't go further with the car, we'll have to go by foot." He said and opened the door from Luffy's side, making him step out. Torao held his shoulders as they walked towards their destination, being careful so that Luffy wouldn't trip as he still wasn't allowed to look.

It wasn't until Luffy smelled the salty air he knew where they were. "We're at the beach??"

Law smiled and took the boy's hands, removing them from his face, "I thought you would like that."

"Of course I like the beach!" The boy said excitedly as they both walked in the sand towards the sea, "It's been a while since I've been here shishi~"

"I'm glad you like it." Law wrapped his arm around the boy's waist, drawing him closer. "We could go to a restaurant later if you're hungry."

Luffy blushed and smiled brightly, "Thanks for taking me here torao!"

The man chuckled, "I wasn't sure where to take you at first. But you seem like a person who would find normal dates boring."

"Shishishi, I guess"

They spend the whole afternoon enjoying the warmth of the sun while having fun. They talked and got to know each other better, they played with the sand (Mostly Luffy though, because Law felt too old for that). They still had to stay out of the water because Law forgot to bring swimming trunks. Not that Luffy minded, he can't swim anyway.

After, they went to a restaurant which was located near the beach. Law was surprised with how much the boy could eat. Luffy was actually holding back his appetite a bit because he wouldn't want torao to pay so much for him.

When they were done eating they went back to the shore. Luffy was currently eating some ice cream Law had bought him on the way. It was melting quickly because of the warmth so he tried to eat it quickly. He looked at torao who was walking next to him, "You don't want any? It's really good!"

Law saw some ice cream dripping from Luffy's lips down to his chin so he brushed his thumb over his lips and catched the dripping ice. He then licked his thumb and grinned, "Very tasty indeed."

The boy blushed madly and quickly looked away in embarrassment. "S-so um.. are we going home now?"

"Only if you want to. We can stay as long as you want." Law looked at the sun, which was almost setting, "What did you think of our date?" Did you like it?"

"I had lots of fun" The boy smiled softly, "...Are we going to do this again?"

"Going on a date you mean?"

Luffy nodded and scratched his head. It would suck if Law didn't like their date and wouldn't want to do it again. He really enjoyed being with torao and talking with him about something other than school.

"I'd like to go on another date with you, yes." His teacher smiled and ruffled the boy's hair.

Luffy felt very relieved. He had the urge to wrap his arms around Law but he still felt a little weird about doing that.

They walked back to the car after a while and drove back home.

"Do you want me to drop you off at your own house? Or do you want to stay over for another night?"

"I think it would be better if I headed home. You know, for if my brothers would come back" Luffy looked out of the window. He'd rather stay with torao but it's true, if his brothers were coming back early he would be in some deep shit.

"Alright" Law answered as he drove them towards Luffy's house. He still knew the address from the last time.

Law turned into his street and stopped the car in front of his house. "I'll see you at school?"

Luffy nodded and leaned closer to him, giving him a light peck on his cheek. He pulled back and turned his head to hide his blush, "Goodnight torao" He said and got out of the car.

Law was surprised with the kiss Luffy had given him but smiled, "Goodnight Luffy-ya" he replied as he saw Luffy closing the door of the car and walked to his front door. He drove away when the boy entered his house.

Luffy bit his lip to hide his huge smile as he closed the door. He was so fucking happy right now. He turned around and started heading towards his room until he heard a low cough coming from the couch. He turned around in shock to see his brothers sitting there, their faces weren't looking very... 'friendly'.

"You've got some explaining to do Luffy."
