Noble and Pirate

Chapter 9

I woke up by the sound of people cheering loudly outside and footsteps. I opened my eyes slowly and yawned. I stared up at the ceiling that has fancy chandelier. That's weird, since when my room has that? Then i quickly sat up on the bed when I remembered about yesterday. I.. we did those things yesterday and.. "Ahhh!" I face palmed myself. I sounded like a damn slut yesterday. I exhale then got off his bed and I noticed I'm already dressed however I wore a slightly large shirt. Must be mika's shirt.

Baam! The door suddenly opened and I jolted by the sound. It was lacus and rene. "Oh good you're up kiddo! Go take a shower and change into this quick." lacus said and rene handed me some change. The clothes are slight fancy and I raised my brows. "What's all this for?" I asked and he grinned. "While yuu were resting, the crew finally found the treasure." Rene said. "Yeah everyone was hype about it you know. After we got the treasure we immediately sailed at the nearest island that has town." lacus butted in. "So you mean I slept the whole day yesterday?!" I gasped and he laughed. "Don't be so surprise. By the way, the treasure cost 50 million or so. It's crazy!" lacus lit up and I shrugged. "Just 50million? It's not much you know." I replied and he pouted"Oh shut up. You know nothing because you're a rich noble." he huffed. "I'm going to take a bath." I said. "I think by the the time you finish everyone is at the bar so we'll be waiting for you at the main deck." they walked out of the room.

When we arrived at the bar lacus and rene left me to get some drinks while I stood near the main entrance not knowing what to do. I didn't see any of my friends anywhere but I do noticed mika was sitting on a wooden stool not far from me. I wanted to avoid mika because I'm too ashamed of myself. Everyone is having fun drinking and smiled plastered on their faces. I feel so left out.. "I noticed you've been standing here for a while now. Are you alone?" a guy suddenly came towards me. The front of his hair is red and at the back of his hair is black with long braided pony tail. He's very tall and kind of buff. He striking red eyes were staring down at me and gave me a small smile.

"Uhh um.." before I could respond, he leaned close to me until both of our body touched which I didn't say anything but gulped. "You can call me Crowley. So are you from around here?" he asked and I shook my head. "No." I looked away from his intense gaze and place by hands on his chest to pushed him away but he didn't budge at all. "I see. There's nothing much here but I do spend most of my time with my pet. It's a bird." he grinned. "Oh really now.." I responded. "I still haven't know your name cutie." he whispered and I gasped at how close we were then I noticed mika was staring at me with a piercing gaze. I looked down. "Yuuichirou.." I muttered.

Crowley grabbed my chin and tilted my head up. "Such a cute name for a cutie like you." he chuckled and stepped back. "I'm going to the toilet for a while. Don't miss me too much okay pumpkin" he winked the walked away. Mika was still glaring at me then he looked away which I have no idea why he's acting like that. Suddenly, someone yanked my arm hard until my body was pressed against something while an arm was wrapped around my neck almost choking me. Then I felt something hard pressed at the side of my head. Is it a gun? "Listen up!!! If any of you don't want this kid to get killed, you better be give me the treasure you got yesterday!" a guy behind me shouted. I noticed several people were holding knives. Who are these people?

"Ferid." mika walked towards us and the guy behind me chuckled. "Good to see you again mika. Haven't seen you in a while. What a coincident! I'm staying at this town for a few days with my boys here and i overheard about some other pirate got the legendary treasure. I knew it's going to be you because no other pirate is as smart as you." he said and mika took a step forward. "Whoopsie there. You don't want this cabin boy of yours to get killed right? I know the key of the treasure is with you know so hand it over." ferid demanded and everyone was silent not knowing what to do. Mika was hesitating to make the decision. Everyone was searching for the treasure for years. Think yuu think.

They're pirates and pirates could only think about money. Hope this will work. "Oh look a penny!" I shouted and pointed on the floor and they surprisingly looked on the floor. I pushed ferid against the wall with my back with full forced which it caught him off guard. " Get down!" mika shouted and threw a knife towards ferid's hand and he lost grip of his gun. I quickly took his gun and pointed at ferid who was shock. "D-don't move or I'll shoot you." I stuttered.

"Wow feisty! I love it!" crowley shouted while standing in front of the toilet. "Retreat!" ferid shouted and his crew started to ran away. "Oh no you don't you fucking pig!" mika threw another knife towards ferid which ferid smoothly dodge it then made his escape. "Tch he got away." mika mumbled. "Omg kitty cat that was so brave of you to do that. If I were with you, I would've protect you." crowley ran towards me and hugged me. "Everyone get back to the ship. We don't know what he might do if we aren't cautious."mika ordered and walked passed me. "You're going to go too cutie? But I just met you today." he pouted. "Hurry up!" mika shouted and I flinched. "Y-yes!" I pulled away from crowley's embraced and followed behind mika.

The walked towards the ship was dead silence. We didn't say a word to each other. I still can't shake off the feeling of anger and disappointment I have in my chest. I thought a second there he cared about me but he actually didn't. I opened the door to my room and I gasped. My eyes aren't playing tricks on me right? There's a mattress on my bed. Since when? "Oh the mattress is already here huh. Those cabin boys were face." lacus suddenly appeared. "Who?" I asked. "Who? Mika of course. He was pretty pissed when he knew about it. Thank him." lacus said and walked away. See this is what I'm so confused. Sometimes he's a total jerk ass demon. And the next he act like he actually care about me. I laid on my bed and sighed. I should get some rest.
