Nobody wants to even give him a chance. I understand why but..somethings just telling me that I should. I mean it's almost been four years. I don't know..I feel like everything's my fault. Maybe I should talk to him in person just to make sure this isn't a game. Besides..he's in California on a vacation with his girlfriend and kid so maybe I should take this chance since he's in the country. Leah wouldn't let me do that though so guess what? I'm not gonna tell her. If she finds out she'll kill me. She's scary when she's mad.

I went out to the backyard by the pool while the kids were still in the living room watching tv. I just sat at one of the benches watching the water fountain. It's a loud ass water fountain.

I sighed and relaxed and just thought about everything. I just have the urge to sit back and relax and reflect on things. I'm happy in my life, yes. But I really wouldn't mind if Emme got to know him more.  Maybe I'm crazy.. cause I know I wouldn't even bother to back then. I mean I found something in him that made me fall in love with him. Then he hurt me..but..if I found something in him then Emme could too. In his heart he's not so bad but I don't know why he'd abuse me. Maybe I was too pretty to him and he just wanted to mess around with that. Or too hot, too perfect for him. I'm not saying that's what I am. But to him..he'd say those things..

I must sound dumb right now.

A lot of weird things go through people's mind. He went through a weird phase and suddenly wanted to hurt me so bad and I couldn't defend myself..well barely. He loved seeing me cry too. When he'd hurt me or have sex with me. I couldn't even enjoy sex because I hated him so much at that point but I did give him consent so it wasn't rape. I still have scars on my body that's barely noticeable from the abuse. Leahs only noticed one on my lower side. She was shocked. Really shocked. She almost cried because she imagined how it happened which is sweet that she cares but boy..it's worst than she thinks. But she's healed me so much that I forgot about telling her every single detail of how I'd get hurt.

"Mommy?" I hear a little girl voice say. I look over to the sliding door and I see a little head peaking out. "Yeah it's me" I said. She pushes the door a little more and walks over to me. I just wanna be alone..but I guess a little girl won't hurt.

"What's wrong mommy?" She asks with her baby voice.

"Nothing..mommy is just tired" I say and she climbs onto the bench and sits by me. She starts swinging her legs too. "Sleep" she tells me and I look down at her. "You should be the one sleeping by now" "I watch tv but I'm booored" she pouts. "You got bored? How come?" "Emme and Sofi wont change channel" "ay..those girls" I said and giggled.

Then we both stayed quiet. I'm surprised how long Emilia stayed quiet because she's starting to get talkative now that she knows how to talk a little more.

Then she got off the bench and squats down. I watched her but I got confused.

"What's that?" I ask her. "A bug!" "A what??" I said and quickly sat up. She holding her hand out and it was just a pebble from our decoration around the backyard. "Silly. That's not a bug" "what is?" "It's a rock" "wock?" "Rock." "What's that?" "The thing that's in your hand!" I said. "hehehe" she giggles and stands up. "Heeere" she says and places it in my hand. "Oh- thank you?" I said and she walks away and goes over to one of the baskets that held all the pool toys.

She pulls out this green pool noodle and runs back to me and gives it to me. Then she runs away and comes back with another one. Then she runs away again. Then she comes back  with one of the big blown up beach balls and gives that to me too.

"Um..baby..you gotta put these back" I giggled. She gets the ball back from me and throws it in the pool and starts to laugh. "Mommy look!" she points at the ball. "I know I saw" I smile. Then she takes out both noodles from my hands and walks with both of them. It's too big for her so she kept dropping them both. I stood up and followed her because she was getting too close to the pool and I didn't want her falling in. It's dark out here but the pool has lights under water..but still. It's dangerous for her.
