Jens pov

My mom came to visit me the next day. The doctors have been giving me things to help heal. I'm not leaving till I have a full recovery. I got stitches yesterday for two big cuts which still hurt. But I'm back to having marks on my body again. I have way too many scars and this made it worst. Leahs gonna find my body ugly now. I could feel it. I'm such a fuck up. I fucked up in the beginning to even date that man but the best came out of it. Emme. My little miracle baby.

Sofia was the only one who went to school and after school hours, Emme, Emilia and Sofia stayed with Lynda at her place but they would visit me a lot. We just needed someone to take care of them while Leah is with me since Leah doesn't plan on going home till I go home which is so sweet of her. She won't even go home just to take a shower. Lynda brought her toothbrush and other things she needs. I love her so much. I don't deserve Leah. She does so much for me. Even after all the messes I create.

"Jen honey, promise me that you'll never talk to him again.." my mom says. "Mom I know already. I get it. That was my fault that I talked to him. I shouldn't have. I would have been at home right now. I don't need it rubbed in my face" I said and that kind of triggered her. She got mad and started talking to me in Spanish. So I started speaking Spanish also all in front of Leah. She loves when I speak Spanish..even though this is a serious matter. I know what's going through her head right now.

"Okay..sorry." I said. My mom shook her head and leaned it onto her hand as she was sitting in one of the chairs. Then I looked at Leah and she looked worried..well no. I cant even read her. She looked worried but also amazed..she's staring.

I just wanna go back home already.

But I'm in so much pain. My head doesn't hurt as much because of what the doctors gave me but it was pretty bad before that. I cant believe I got hit that hard and nothing too serious happened to my brain or anything.

"Leah come here" I said. She comes up to me and places her hand over mine. "Yes?" "I wanna go home" I pout. "I want you to also..you're not even fully recovered yet hun.." "I know..ugh..my cuts burn."

"Mind if I see the one that they gave you stitches on?"

"It's pretty nasty..but sure" I said and lifted up the short sleeve of my left arm and she gasped. "And then there's this.." I said and pulled the fabric down a bit revealing my chest and somewhat boob. "Oh my.." "Yeah..it's gonna be a big scar." I said. "Hopefully it heals fast so it won't irritate you anymore." "Yeah. I hope so too..." I said and just kept looking at her. "What's wrong?" She asks me as she notices I'm about to cry. "All these cuts on my face and body..I already have enough scars..my body won't look the same leah" I said softly.

"Won't look the same?"

"Yeah..my skin won't be as 'flawless' as you'd always say it was."

"Baby no..you'll still be flawless to me."

"But my scars.."

"What about them? They won't bother me"

"are you sure?"

"Yes. I love you any way you are. A few scars won't bother me babe. I don't care. As long as you're safe and alive and here with me. I'm happy."

I sighed and smiled then stuck my lips out and she leaned down and kissed me. Then she pulls back but I pulled her back down. I really really really missed her lips. All we've been doing is fighting. We haven't really had our intimate moments anymore...and I'm amazed how much she cares about me. It's a turn on. Not a turn on now though because I'm in pain but I mean in general. She's so amazing.

"Hey! None of that here you two! You're literally in pain!" My mom reacts and said that to us. Leah pulled back and I smiled at her. Then I looked at my mom. "Sorry ma" I said and giggled. Then I looked back at Leah and she was smiling so much with her finger at her bottom lip. I could tell she really liked that kiss. A kiss from me as I'm in the hospital bed but I know just how she likes it.

Leahs pov

Lynda and the kids came later that after noon. They brought us food. Jens mom already left so it was just me, jen, the girls and Lynda. Emme brought over a chair by jen and sat and ate with her and they just kept talking. Just them two. It's so sad how they were both in an accident but I'm glad Emme is alright. I just want jen to fully recover so I can take her home. I want things to be back to normal. No more fighting. I mean married couples do fight sometimes, but I hate it. It's even worst because she got into an accident. But Jens learned her lesson now not to talk to Emmes dad so I'm sure we won't be fighting anymore since that was the reason why we were fighting.

"Mama I missed you" Emilia says and climbs onto my lap. "I missed you too baby girl" I said and kissed her cheek. "I wanna go home" she said. "You just got here silly" "no I want you and mommy go hooome" "oh..Emilia we can't. Not yet. Mommy is still healing up" "for what?" "She just has a few cuts on her arm and face and it needs to be taken care of by the doctors. Once she's better we can go home" "aww. Poor mommy! Why?!" She asks and I paused. I didn't wanna say and explain it all to her. She'll get scared.

"Emilia come here I wanna hug" jen says reaching her arms out as she was sitting up. Emilia smiled widely and I brought her over to jen. Then I had Emme sit on my lap so I could sit by jen with her too.

"Mommy you scratched?!"

"I know. I was in a little accident but I'm okay. I just have scratches. Maybe we could go home tomorrow"

"Yay!" She says happily. Jen holds her little hands and leans in forward to Emilia and closes her eyes while kissing her forehead. "I love you so much Emilia" "I love youuuu" she says back and it made me smile. Emilia barely says those three words because she doesn't really understand what it means. She's so adorable. All jen wants is for her and Emme to be happy. I could tell she tries really hard for that. Ugh. I just want jen to heal up already.
