"3...2...1!! Come out come out wherever you are!" Sofia says. She's sweet for playing hide and seek with Emilia while I'm just chilling on the couch watching tv. I'm so lazy today. I'm still annoyed too. But I didn't tell sofia and Emilia that jen and Emme were at Disneyland. I just said they went to the mall. I kinda miss Jen. The non stupid jen. Like..there's stupid jen that's funny and forgivable and attractive or goofy. Then there's literally stupid jen. When she makes life mistakes..and she made a mistake of even meeting up with him for lunch that time I caught her in a lie. I just want her smart self back. What in the world got her to suddenly believe him?

But maybe I should vision it from her perspective. I mean he is Emmes dad. Who abused her mom who is my wife. Mentally abused Emme..now jen wants him in Emmes life. Not fully but a little bit. She kept saying she wants his support. Support for what? Jen and I are both rich now. We could literally have 10 kids and still be rich. I'm not saying I want that though. I'm not also saying I don't want that..I'd love more kids. But I mean, if I were a guy. I probably would've gotten jen pregnant so many times because of the many times we have sex. But anyways. I don't know. I cant see what jens point is. See..even if I think about her it turns into something else about her.

"Found you!" Sofia yells and Emilia starts laughing and running away for a few seconds. Then she jumps onto the couch and crawls onto my stomach.

"Babe.." I sighed. "Sofia dont catch me!" She says right in my face and her little hands were on my chest.

"I'm so tired baby. I don't wanna play" I groan.

"Gotchu!" Sofia says and starts tickling Emilia

"Sofia stop! Not on me" I groan more in a bitchy tone.
"Okay fine. Well..Imma go upstairs and change and go swim"

"I wanna swim!" Emilia yells.

"See no. Sofia don't swim today because now Emilia wants to and I have to watch and I am not in the mood for anything right now.

"Ugh...Why can't you and jen just work what ever is going on out? That's the only reason you're mad"

"Because Sofia. It's not that easy for couples to just magically fix everything. You gotta give it time and Jennifer is being stubborn"

I guess I'm being stubborn too. She said 'I love you' to me this morning and I didn't say it back again.

"Ugh" she scoffs and walks away. Attitude.

"Mama ice cweaammm" "cream not cweam" "Emme said cweam" "it's cream!!" I raised my voice and Emilia gets scared. "I- I'm sorry. Fine...you can have ice cream" "yay!" She says and gets off me.

Then my phone rings. I thought it was jen but instead it was a weird number. I answered it anyways.

"Hello?"

"Yes is this Leah? Leah remini?"

"Yes this is her"

"Leah, your wife..Jennifer and her daughter Emme have been in a huge accident and are on the way to the hospital right now..." the person said. He wasn't even done talking but that's all I processed. My heart dropped.

"Wha-what? Are you serious??" I said as my eyes start watering.

"Mama ice cream!" Emilia says.

"Wait Emilia!...which- which hospital??" I asked. He tells me and I hang up right away after I get all the information.

"Sofia!"

"What do you want."

"Don't give me that attitude. Put your shoes on right now. Hurry up please!" I said panicking and ran up to Emilia's room and got her sweater and socks, ran back downstairs and put it on her along with her shoes
