The Nice Girl (Part 2)

Jens pov

"We gotta hurry up! Mama has to catch a flight to New York today!" I tell Emilia. She's just playing on the iPad on my bed while Leah was downstairs getting all the last things she needed put together. Everyone else was ready but Emilia. The little one.

I take the iPad away from her and she gives  me this surprised look. I start to laugh but was also in my mom mode.
"Get up now." I said. "Gimmie ipad" "Emme I- I mean Emilia no!" I said. Their names confuse me sometimes.

"I want ipad!" She raises her voice at me. It kind of pissed me off. I carried her out of the bed and started changing her clothes and fixing her hair. She began to cry as I put her hair up in two baby ponytails on top. Then I made her face me but she kept rubbing her eyes.

"Emilia that is enough! I don't wanna hear it anymore." I demanded and took her hands away from her face. She just wants attention at this point just so she can get the iPad back.

"Okay now go downstairs to mama" I said and had her leave the room and go down.

I'm already stressed. Leah and I haven't had sex for days..it was ever since that time in the office.. and she's gonna leave me with the kids like this? I mean I don't mind. I love it but I also have my needs..Leah won't be there to help.

I went downstairs with my purse, keys and phone but I had Emme carry it for me while I helped Leah with her luggage. She has only two luggage's. As we walk out the door it's hitting me more that I'm really gonna miss her. But right now we're having brunch before we bring her to the airport so I'm hoping it goes by slow.

Once we got to the restaurant and ordered. I talked more to Leah. I mean we all talked but I'm really about to not have her with me for five days. This is torture.

"I'll FaceTime you during the day. During lunch so it's like we're having lunch together. All that stuff" Leah tells me. "But- you'll be busy the whole day. I know exactly what you two are gonna be doing. You'll be busy and the only time we could actually talk face to face is at night. Plus we wouldn't be able to FaceTime for lunch because of the time difference. So it won't work." I said.

"Then let's talk at night" "Okay..but-ugh..." i said and pouted. "You'll be fine! I'll be fine. You all will be fine. It's just five days." "Four nights without you in my bed kissing me goodnight and-" "Okay. Enough. I'll call you. Don't worry. You're exaggerating." "Leah I love you! You know me! Honestly I still hate my sister for this even though she gave us time off."

Leah sighs and doesn't say anything else.

We all ate our food and this brunch went quicker than I wanted. Now we're on the way to LAX.

Once we got there, we walked inside the building. Still always crowded as usual. I kept an extra close eye on my kids but Sofia was helping out by carrying Emilia.

We got to some chairs and Leah sat down next to her luggage then looked up at me as I was standing in front of her.

"What" i said. She noticed my tone. "Oh so now you're giving me attitude?" "Leah I-" I paused and sigh. "I don't wanna fight. Ima miss you and I'm so stressed out about things. I just wish we had one more week." "Youre acting like I'm not coming back! Once I'm back I'll always be here. It's just a few days hun. If you need to call me, just call me. I'll answer whenever I could." She tell me and holds onto my hand.

"Where's mama going? Why will you miss her?" Emilia asks.

I freeze and give Leah this look then bite my lip. I forgot that Emilia doesn't even know what's happening. I mean we've brought it up but we haven't fully explained it.

"I'm going to New York for a few days babe. But I'll be back right away." She says to her. Emilia gets off Sofia's lap and pushes my hand away and got onto Leahs lap. "A few days?" "Yup." "Why?" "It's for work" she says. Emilia looks at me confused.

"Mama won't be with us for a few days" I said. Emilia gasps and makes this sad puppy face. "Nooo! I don't want you to leave!" "Just a few days.." "no!" She hisses and hugs Leahs neck. Leah looks at me and I just shrug my shoulders and walked over to another chair that wasn't next to her. I'm just annoyed. I cant even explain why I'm annoyed.

As time went by, it was time for Leah to leave. Leah got up and starts giving kisses and hugs to the girls. Then she put Emilia down. I stood up and looked at Leah. I pressed my lips together and slowly put my arms out to hug her but she immediately hugged me. That felt soo good. I bury my face into her neck and took the deepest breath taking in her scent since she always smells so good. Then we slightly pulled back and look at each other and we kissed. I really expected a short kiss but she full on made out with me not even caring about whose around.

"Mommy! Gross!" Emme yells and I pull back. I keep my eyes on Leah and lick my lips. I guess that'll have to do till I see her again. Ugh. I'm so extra. It's literally just five days and I could still talk to her. It's just going to be different when she's not someone I'll wake up to every morning and go to sleep with every night..for those five days only. I'll be fine. I'm overthinking things. Maybe it's because I won't be with her. I'm afraid someone will hit on her while I'm not around. I know she won't let anything happen. She'll just let them look and that's it. She's permanently mine anyways. I'm fine.

"That's what you're gonna have to deal with till I come back. I know you're stressed but you'll be fine. Go to the gym to help you get your mind straight because I know that helps you with your stress. Have one of the girls sleep with you. Take Emilia to Disney while the girls are in school. Have dinner with the family. Do all that stuff to make the week go by fast. Alright?" Leah tells me and I smile. "Okaaay. I'll do that" "and take pictures for me so I know you did it" "Okay" I said and hugged her again. "I love you" "I love you too.. now go. Before you miss your flight." I said and held her hand as she backed away. "You'd love that wouldn't you" she jokes. "If only.." I smile and let go. "Have a safe flight my love" I said.

Sigh. I watch her walk away this whole time. As far as I can watch her till she's about to board. She looks back and waves to us all. I smile and waves and tell Emilia to look and say bye. "Byeeee mama!!" She yells out. Leah laughs and finishes off her waves and looks away. She's so gorgeous. From far and up close. Can't believe that hot woman is my wife. I hope she finds Lynda because Lynda flew yesterday. She's picking her up at the airport once she lands then they'll start right away with their work. Well..at least Leahs made it this far in her career. I'm glad I helped her get this far because this trip is actually big. I'm so proud of her.
