Today I'm out with Emme and I'm feeling hella guilty. I didn't tell her exactly what we're doing today. But we're going over to her dads hotel with his girlfriend and her kid there. I feel like a horrible mom but somethings telling me that I should do this. Which is letting him treat Emme for a fun day. I'll be with her. I'm not that horrible to leave her by herself with him and his girlfriend and child will come too. I told Leah we were going to Disneyland. It's bad because even though I feel like I need to do this, at the same time I'm having this horrible feeling because I'm lying to my wife. But I have to do this for emme. If this works out, Emme and him can finally have a bond. I know I wouldn't have said this back then and I would've said just to let Leah and Emme bond which they already have, but now that everything is settled.. I just wanna try. When Emmes older, I knew she'd get mad and keep asking why I never tried to have her get along with her dad. ive heard stories like that with other families. I don't know. I'm probably so crazy for doing this and Leah would probably leave me if she found out. Emme is mad at me for even bringing him up so..this should be interesting.

"Where are we Mommy?" She asks me as we walk into the lobby. I made a mistake for not telling her ahead of time. Now I'm just attacking her with this

"You know how I was with your dad the other day?" I ask her. She nods her head yes and looks around, confused. "I want you to meet him again, now that you're older and a little more mature" "but-but-" "he won't hurt anyone babe" "why do we have to see him??" She asks. I sigh and squat down in front of her.

"I just really wanna see if he's changed. I promise you he won't hurt anyone. He just wants to start supporting you like he should be. You're getting older and you're going to need him for some legal things eventually." "But isn't Leah my other mom?" "Yes. But..he's your father. The one who signed your birth certificate. I know we signed legal things for Leah and you, but not everything could be done by her. He's just here to support and maybe even get to know you" "I don't wanna talk to him" she shakes her head. I sigh. "Well I'll stay with you the whole time but you talk. I don't want to" she says.

"oh okay..well that could work" "this is weird" she pouts. "I know baby. I'm so sorry for doing this to you but you're stronger than you were when you were three years younger than now. Leah helped the both of us and if I'm ready, I know you're ready. It's just..it was so unexpected" "I know mommy. I trust you" "good...thank you.. I love you so much by the way" i said and kissed her forehead. "I love you so much too" she smiles and hugs me.

At least my daughter trusts me.

They came down to the lobby and met us there. We hugged..kinda. Not Emme. She stayed behind me holding my hand the whole time.

"Emme, this is Brianna, and I'm Lucy" my exes girlfriend says.

I look down at Emme and I could tell she forced a smile.

"So you're okay with mini golf?" She asks me. "Yeah sure! Emme loves those type of places" "oh good! Then we'll go there." She says. We all leave together since we are carpooling. Yes carpooling. Am I crazy?

Me and Emme sat in the back while him and his girlfriend were in front and Brianna next to emme on her right. Emme was locking arms with me the whole time and leaned her head onto me. I let her play with my phone to get distracted and just looked out the window and relaxed.

We all kept talking about the most basic things. Going pretty good so far I guess.

"So Brianna is in honor roll?" I ask. "Yeah I am!" Brianna answers back happily. "Good for you!" I said

"Yeah. I kinda push her a little too much but it's all worth it right?" Lucy tells me. "Yup! She'll have it easy on her when she looks for high schools and even colleges if she keeps up the good work" I said.

"Yeah. That's exactly how I want it to go so hopefully she keeps it this way" she giggles. I giggled too then looked back out the window. Then a second later I gasped. My only reaction was to cover Emme with my arms and body. I heard a loud bang. Then I blacked out. That's all I remember.
