Draco's POV

I woke up in a bad mood. The Yule Ball was fun and all, I enjoyed it so much! But I just couldn't help but feel quite sad and confused because of Krystal.

I want her to say the 3 words back, but I knew she just couldn't get it out of her mouth. I didn't want to stress her out because she looked quite sad and guilty. It made me feel bad.

I couldn't believe I fell in love with her. Out of everyone, she's probably the one who I least expect.

I shook of the thoughts and headed to the Great Hall for breakfast which I was craving.

I arrived and Krystal wasn't there yet. I went to my table and ate. Almost every Slytherin hated me due to the fact that I loved a mudblood, not to mention someone whose not a Slytherin.

After 5 minutes I saw Krystal enter with Cedric and Felicia who were holdings hands.

The 3 of them headed to their separate tables.

"Hey, Draco. What's up?" Felicia asked as she sat next to me and started eating her food.

"Nothing. Just some conflicts in my brain", I said.

"Is it because of Krystal? Is it because she couldn't say I Love You back?" she asked. "I've noticed, Draco."

I sighed and debated whether to spill it all and vent it to her. I didn't want to seem vulnerable to her, but yet again everyone already knows so I have nothing to lose. Plus she's a friend so why not?

"Yeah", I said. "I so badly want her to say it to me but I don't want her to think I'm rushing her or forcing her because she's already stressed over it herself! I don't know what to do. Wait?! For how long? What if she likes me only as a friend?! I mean I've confessed my undying love to her, it'd be embarassing to get rejected!" I vented.

"I know. I'm sorry", Felicia simply said. "Just don't push her to it, that'll just make her more uncomfortable. Just treat her like usual and she'll come around. And well, all you can do is wait. Don't make it seem like you're forcing it on her, trust me she doesn't like that", she said, "it makes her guilty."

"Yeah I know", I replied. "Just hang in there, Malfoy", Felicia cheered on me. I nodded my head and continued to eat while looking at Krystal. This time she was the one who was staring at me. She must've wondered what we were talking about that seemed so serious.

TIME SKIP

"Krystal, let's go on a Saturday walk to Hogsmeade", I smiled as I took her hand and headed to the usual Tea Shop.

She chuckled and walked with me, still holding hands.

The atmosphere was so awkward...I didn't know why. I tried to start a conversation but just ended up not doing so.

"Uhm...Draco?" Krystal started. "Mhm?" I replied. "You just seemed lost in thought", she shyly smiled.

We started walking faster and I walked infront of her, both of us chuckling. But then I heard the sound of males right behind me, I looked behind and saw 2 students flirting with her. Krystal was just giggling with them and smiling.

I immediately went to them. "Yo, did you not here what I said last time in the Great Hall? You're way too close to her you dipshits", I angered. They rolled their eyes and left waving, Krystal waved back.

I couldn't help but feel jealous as hell. "Hey! What was that?! Do you remember that you have a boyfriend?!" I exclaimed. "Oh my god, relax! They're nice", she smiled. I rolled my eyes and groaned.

"Stop being so jealous all the time", she smirked. I scoffed and tried to deny it. "I'm not jealous", I said. She laughed. Ugh.

It was annoying but I couldn't help but think that her smile was cute.

Wow, I'm really into her.

TIME SKIP

"Draco, give it back! Give my wand back!" She shouted, irritated. I had gotten quite pissed and so decided to steal her most prized possession.

I was taller than her and held my arm the highest I can. She couldn't reach it at all. I laughed. "Thats for making fun of me!" I sticked my tongue out.

"Draco!!!!" she whined. "Give it backkkkkkkk", she pouted.

"Retrieve it", I challenged. She groaned.

She jumped to get it but ended up causing both of us to fall. "Hey! You pushed me!" I exclaimed at Krystal who was on top of me. "It's your fault! I was only trying to get my wand", she said while she took her wand from my grasp. I rolled my eyes.

"What are you both doing?" a familiar, emotionless voice asked.

We both gulped and looked up.

Snape stood there with an expression probably disgusted at us. "Get off me", I whispered to Krystal.

We both dusted ourselves before Snape started talking. "Why were you both on the ground in the middle of the hallway?" Snape asked.

"Uhm...Draco stole my wand and I tried to get it but ended up falling on top of him", Krystal said. I nodded my head. "Why did I see you both in Hogsmeade?" he asked, annoyed. "It's a Saturday", I replied. "Have you forgotten the rules? You're not allowed to go anywhere for safety reasons", Snape scolded.

Shit I forgot

I saw Krystal's worried face. "Detention for both of you tomorrow oh and five points from both your houses each! Now get back to your dorms!"

"Ah, everything is always your fault", Krystal whined. "Stop getting me into trouble", she added. I rolled my eyes. I pecked her lips before we started walking.

"The term is about to end and we'll be going to next grade", I said. "I know", he replied. "Ugh we have detention tomorrow", I complained. "Life sucks", Krystal said. I nodded my head in agreement.

We both parted ways to our dorms.

When I entered the common room, I was greeted by unhappy Slytherins. "Thanks again for losing us points, Malfoy! We've never lost so many points before! Plus, you crossed the rules! It's all because of that Eleanor!" Blaise complained, other Slytherins chanting in agreement. "What kind of a prefect are you?! We're in last place and Hufflepuff has first place!" A Slytherin shouted. I rolled my eyes. "Look I'm sorry. I feel bad too", I said. "You better be!"

Ugh, I hate them. Why did I become a prefect again?!

Everyone kept on shouting at me and throwing foul words, not that I care. But I do feel bad that I've been losing points for Slytherin. I'm a proud Slytherin and I want to see our house reach victory but it's been hard.

Felicia walked to me and patted my back. "You're gonna defend him?!" Pansy shouted. "Shut up, Parkinson", Felicia answered. "Hey, you should be more careful! You shouldn't break anymore safety rules for the sake of the house and us Slytherins. And of course you're our prefect so please act that way!" Felicia scolded. "I know. What do you think they've been trying to tell me?" I stated. "Yeah but I thought you'd prefer it in a calmer way", she said. I just nodded and went back to my dorm.

Ugh.
