Krystal's POV

I woke up and had a huge smile on my face since today, I won't have to worry about Malfoy spilling my secret. I got ready and headed for breakfast. As I enter the great hall, I could see Pansy glaring at me from her seat. I ignored her and sat on my usual seat. I could see Malfoy looking at me ; as always. I looked behind to see the golden trio and of course, Harry was staring at Cho. I grumbled as I suddenly felt sad all over again. "Just ignore it, Krystal", Luna said.

I had only ate half of my meal before leaving, honestly because I lost my appetite. I heard footsteps following me. I thought it was Luna, but it was Draco. "Hey, why did you leave?" He asked as he caught up to me. "Lost my appetite", I replied. "Is it because of Harry and Cho? I saw what happened. My seat has the perfect view of you", he said, sounding concerned. "Is that why you're always staring at me, Draco? Or do you just like my face?" I asked with a smirk on my face. He got flustered, he turned a little red and I giggled. "Why do you care anyways? i thought you'd be ignoring me for the whole week to try to stop yourself from calling me names", I said. "I'm a good sport. I'm dreading to prove you wrong. So I'll be super nice to you and act like a friend", he smiled. "And when I win the bet, I'll make you do something embarrassing", he added. "Too bad that's not gonna happen", I chuckled. "You'll see", he replied.

TIME SKIP

"Ugh", I moaned as I saw the piles of homework I had to finish. I've been slacking off and now I have to deal with it. So I decided to skip lunch. "I swear...McGonagall can be such a pain in the ass", I said.

Draco's POV

I scanned the great hall for a sign of Krystal. It's been a while and she hasn't come yet. I decided to walk over to Luna and ask her where she is. "She's skipping. She has tons of homework", Luna answered. I nodded. I decided to take a green apple and leave the great hall.

I saw her doing her homework as I enter the Ravenclaw common room with the help of another Ravenclaw. She acknowledged my presence and looked at me. "What are you doing here?" she asked. "Seeing you. I also brought you an apple because your idio-", I stopped as I realized I can't call her idiotic. "I'm not hungry", she said, changing her gaze to her book. But then, I heard a faint grumble from her stomach. She turned red and bit her bottom lip as she looked down. I chuckled and handed her the apple. "Don't be fucking stubborn, Krystal. Take it. You'll need it", I said. She took the apple and gave out a small smile. "This is definitely not a Draco Malfoy thing to do. It's too kind coming from a pureblood asshole like you", she insulted. I rolled my eyes.

I watched her writing something with her right and and holding an apple on her left hand. She has really pretty eyes. "You're really pretty", I accidentally blurted out as I instantly realize my mistake. "Oh wow...you just said that? Thanks", Krystal said as she started laughing like crazy. "I'm leaving", I said as I walked away from the common room. But she held my wrist and looked at me. She took the chance to tease me. "What? Are you mad I didn't call you pretty too?" she asked jokingly. "Ha. Ha", I said sarcastically, obviously being annoyed. "Awh, you are. Sowry, you're pretty to, Malfoy", she said with a tone of a kid. Something abou that seemed so cute it made me smile a little. But I snapped out of it. "Goodbye, Eleanor. Enjoy your homework...and apple", I waved.

Krystal's POV

"Why is he actually being so nice? He hates me", I question to myself as I watched him  leave.

TIME SKIP

It was late and I was telling Luna what happened that afternoon with Draco. "He has also been giving me small smiles and glances whenever he sees me in the corridors. He hates me. He hates a mudblood. He hates a friend of Harry's. So this doesn't make sense", I said. "He really went overboard with the being nice thing. I'm not complaining though...I enjoy this", I told Luna. "Do you think he actually wants to be your friend?" Luna asked. "I don't know", I replied. "Well stop worrying about him", Luna said. I nodded with a smile. "I can't wait for Easter Holidays by the way! I kinda miss my parents. Not to mention my mother's mouth-watering cooking", I said. "You should come over sometime", I suggested. "Me and my dad would love that", Luna said with a soft smile.
