About Time

Krystal's POV

I was beyond grateful that they had come to help me out of that hell hole. "Please, darling, you need rest!" Madam Pomfrey ordered. I didn't want to upset her so I did what she said. I needed rest. My body was aching thanks to Bellatrix. She really is a fucking maniac.

TIME SKIP

I finally can leave the hospital wing. I was glad because I wanted to meet with my other friends since the visitors were limited.

I met everyone (basically the D.A.) in the Ravenclaw common room. "I'm sorry you guys have to comeback sooner and cut your holidays short", I apologized shyly. "Stop apologizing. Nobody minded", Draco was quick to answer. I smiled at him.

"So, Draco, are you like a member of the D.A. now?" I asked with a smirk. Everyone stared at disgust. "Oh come on, he practically is! The more the merrier right?" I stated. Everyone was thinking for a while. "Fine he can join if he wants to", Harry scoffed. My smiled was still fixed. I looked at Draco, expecting an answer. "Do you want me to join?" He asked me with a look that said, 'please say no'. I chuckled before nodding. He scowled at me playfully before muttering a 'fine'. I cheered and smiled happily. "I don't understand why this 'club' is still here anyways. Umbridge isn't even here anymore", he voiced. Everyone shrugged but no one decided to 'disband' this group. Of course, everyone agreed there won't be any sessions to learn DADA again but we just wanted to keep the group.

TIME SKIP

I was walking around Hogsmeade with Draco, holding hands. It's something we've grown to be comfortable with.

We talked and talked as usual about random stuff. Nothing new. This time, we were talking about muggle childhood. "What do you do when you were young?" He asked. "Or what you enjoyed".

I thought of it for awhile before answering. "I loved going to the arcade", I said. He looked at me with a look I knew all to well. He didn't know what an arcade was. "It's basically a place with a lot of games where a lot of kids go to", I explained, "it's very fun. I'll take you there someday. Maybe during the winter break. What do you say?"

"Sure, I don't guarantee to like it though", he said. "I don't expect you too", I replied with a soft chuckle. "What else do you like?" He asked. "Uhm....going to the library? I love reading but just sometimes I can get lazy to do so. I go to this local library", I said. He scoffed, "boring". I rolled my eyes. "Twilight is great, ok?!" I exclaimed. "What the hell is that?!" He looked at me with that look again. "It's a book about a love triangle between a vampire, human and werewolf", I answered. "Why do you need vampires and werewolves when you have wizards?!"  He replied but a smile crept on his face. I rolled my eyes. "That's not the point!" I laughed.

TIME SKIP

I lied on my bed talking to Luna. I've been thinking about something that had crossed my mind a lot of times. "I wanna say it back to him, Luna", I said. "You should. The heart wants what it wants (A/N : Any Selenators?), Krystal", she replied. "Do what makes you happy!" She gave me a reassuring smile. "Thanks", I said. "I really do mean it though. I...I love him, Luna. Sincerely", I replied. "Thats good because I'm sure he feels the same way, Krystal. So go find him and tell him", Luna said as she gestured me to leave and I did so.

I asked anyone I found in the halls where Draco was but there was no success. No one really knew or remembered. I went everywhere, still couldn't find him. I decided to head for the Astronomy tower, full of hopes. But he wasn't there.

I gave up and decided just to tell him when I see him again. I gazed at the evening view, it was truly picturesque. I let out a sigh but then felt two hands snake around my waist. I knew who it was.

"I heard someone has been looking all over for me", he said. I turned around and faced him. We both were smiling.

"Needed to get something off my chest", I told him. "What? Rants about muggle celebrity relationships?" He joked. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, I've never talked about that infront of him before and I doubt that that idea comes up to his mind. But I let it slide since it wasn't important.

I was a little nervous to say it. My heart was beating out of my chest. I felt so scared somehow even though I knew I probably shouldn't. I took a deep breathe. "Is everything alright?" He asked concerned. I nodded my head. "I..,I..."

"I just wanted to say that I....I love you too".

I finally let it and sighed in a relief. I looked up to him and saw he was frozen, eyes widened. I looked at him weirdly.

Why is he like that?

Then he snapped out of it and pulled me into the tightest hug yet. "Ah! Finally!" He cheered in an overwhelming happiness. I could see the light in his yes, the happiness and relief. "I love you more now", he mumbled as he buried his face on the crook of my neck. I giggled at what I was hearing, never thought this would happen. Falling in love with Draco Malfoy.

"Then, does this mean we can finally be in a real relationship?" He asked with hopeful eyes. I nodded my head and laughed as he practically jumped in happiness.

"You know, I've been waiting for those words for so long. It's about time".
