We got in and Josh ran upstairs and into his room slamming the door,causing uncle Mike to sigh and push his black/gray hair back and walked into his office also slightly slamming the door,sure uncle Mike and Josh,had a nice house,nice things but they were not happy living with eachother and that was evident from the first day I moved here.But I would stay out of any buisness that was nothing to do with me.
I walked into the living toom collapsing onto the plush white couch slinging my school bag down onto the floor and grabbing the remote turning keeping up with the kardashians on,my favourite show.
My phone buzzed from my blazer pocket,I pulled it out and checked the screen I had two message notfications one from Luke and one from Alice,I had never got messages before,only off my aunt so it made me smile like a weirdo at my screen when a message popped up.
I opened up Luke's message first.
'hey piper,so are we still on for this date tomorrow night'
crap,I tottaly forgot I aggred to go to town with Alice tomorrow,I mean I couldn't call my date off with Luke,he seemed hard enough to get with anyway.
I ignored Luke's message and decided to reply to Alice first.
'hey babe,so town tomorrow?' Alice's message popped up on my bright screen.
'yeah well Luke kind of had the date planned for tomorrow,is it okay if we go another day' I replied to Alice hoping she wouldn't be annoyed,the last friend I had was when I was around twelve and we didn't really go out to places then unless it was arranged by our parents or in my case my aunty so I didn't know the rules on cancling plans.
My screen flashed up signling I had a new message from Alice.
'omg yas that is fine,what has lukey boy got planned'
'okay thankyou al and I don't quite know yet' I replied a big smile on my face,I dragged my self up from the couch and trudged over to my uncles office across the hall to ask him if it was okay.
I pushed the big door open,the old wood squeeking slighly,my uncle slightly turned around from his desk,his laptop infront of him and big glasses adorning his aging face.
"Piper whats up" He asked placing the pen that was in his hand onto his desk turning round fully the weels of the chair making an awful sound on the wooden floor.
"well I have been asked on a date tomorrow I was wondering if I could go" I asked standing up straight whilst looking around the room,there was a big desk and lots of photos covering one wall,mainly of him and Josh and a few of some lady,also one of grandma and grandpa.
"yes Piper thats fine,you don't have to ask me to go to on dates you know you are old enough to figure that stuff out on your own,just let me know where you are going and what time you are back" my uncle said slightly laughing.
"oh good thankyou" I said smiling at him.
"okay,and on wednesday we will go and pick some stuff up for your room alright?" My uncle asked.
"yeah thats fine thankyou" I said dragging the thankyou out as I closed the office door and ran back into the livingroom ready to dive onto the couch and text Luke,but when I ran into the room Josh was sat on the couch,smirking with my phone in his hand.
"josh" I said lunging for my phone,but he stood up and held my phone in the air,Josh was not much taller than me but the little height difference he had over me worked in his favour.
"Josh you absolute cock" I said jumping up towards his arm but not quite reaching my phone which was very fustrating.
"ooh lukey is taking you out on a date" Josh said laughing loudly as he ran away from me and around the table opposite the couch.
