(chapter twenty one....made me laugh more than it should of...you stoopid.)
"how does cheese pizza sound?" Luke asked bobbing his head into the living room with a phone to his ear,we had just watched a movie all snuggled up on his couch and I have to admit I loved it but there wasn't a moment when we were cuddled up laughing away where I didn't think of the Harry and what I was going to have to do about this situation.
"sure" I said sending Luke a smile,he smiled back sticking his tongue out before returning to the kitchen,I didn't even like cheese pizza,actually I hated it but the guilt took over me like a huge wave,how could I even do this to Luke,how can I go behind his back he made me so happy and I think I made him happy to,I am such a bad person.
Luke walked back into the living room with a smile on his face and sat down next to me then he grabbed my legs and swung them round so they lay over his,he left his big hand on my thigh whilst he smiled down at me.
"pizza will be here any minuet babe" He said pulling a blanket over us to keep us warm.
"babe" I teased the use of the cliche nickname raising my eyebrows at him.
"do you not like that nickname,maybe I should call you something different" Luke replied going along with my teasing.
"like what?" I asked leaning on his shoulder laughing slightly to myself due to his funny attitude to anything,he could have a joke with me and let any funny remarks I sent his way slide,un like Harry who would probably go off on one.
Why the hell was I thinking of Harry at a time like this...
"I don't know maybe girlfriend" Luke said his eyes gleaming and his smile becoming bigger.
"it's a bit weird to call someone your girlfriend don't you" I began to say being oblivious but then Luke's face changed from happy to confused,Oh he was asking me to be his girlfriend.
"oh you are asking me to be your girlfriend" I said covering my mouth,my cheeks felt like they were burning.
"yes Piper" He asked laughing at me softly before he bit his plump lips.
God he was so cliche deciding on such a dorky way of asking me out.I was about to say yes I would love to be,this was what I was fretting about on Saturday,would he ever get the balls to ask me to be his girlfriend,this is what I wanted,but what happened yesterday made my brain switch,I couldn't do that I couldn't go behind Luke and Harry's back.
"I need to think Luke" I replied sucking on the inside of my mouth due to how nervous I was,I saw the smile drop from Luke's face and his eyes filled almost instantly with regret and embarrassment.
"oh sorry Piper" He murmured slightly,his hand dropping from my thigh,I felt like bursting out in tears and collapsing onto him and telling him everything.
"no don't be sorry Luke" I said,my voice needy,in some sort of attempt to fix what I had just broken I grabbed Luke's hand intertwining it with mine,his face perked up just the slightest bit.
"did I come on to strong,shit" He murmured lifting his head back to rest against the cushion making his Adams apple bob as he spoke.
"no Luke,I just don't think I am ready for a relationship yet Luke,I have been here less than a month" I replied,my voice was deceiving me and lying,I would do anything to walk round holding Luke's and being introduced as his girlfriend but it wasn't fair on him,I didn't want to hurt him.
"sorry Pipes" He said using his sweet nickname for me that made my tummy flutter.
"it's okay" I leaned in intending on giving him a small kiss but I was taken off guard when one of Luke's hand snaked around to the back of my neck pulling me closer into the kiss,he nibbled on my lip causing me to open it in excitement giving his tongue a chance to explore my mouth,his other hand found it's way back to it's original place on my thigh.
