Addison shifts in the crib, signaling she was waking up as Camila and Lauren continue to softly talk about Daxton.
"She's waking up." Lauren whispered.
Sighing, Camila kisses Lauren's cheek. "Maybe she'll stay quiet."
Almost as if to prove her wrong, Addison releases a soft cry.
Lauren gave Camila a look and rolled her eyes.
The baby releases a louder cry as soon as she realized they weren't getting her.
"Get her." Lauren said. "Before she screams the place down."
Sighing, Camila gets up and moves over to the crib.
Addison stares up at her, her bottom lip pouting out.
"What?" Camila asked, lifting the baby up.
Curling into Camila, the baby kicks her feet and continues to pout.
"What's with the look?" Camila asked.
"What look?" Lauren asks as she shifts Daxton who was still cooing adorably.
Addison's eyes start to water as her lower lip trembles.
"Addison." Camila said, she carried the baby over to Lauren. "She's about to cry and I don't know why."
"Check her diaper." Lauren says softly, looking up and seeing what Camila had been talking about.
Addison releases a soft cry, a solo tear falling from her right eye.
Camila sighed. She lifted the baby up and sniffed her bum. "She doesn't need changed."
"Are you sure?" Lauren asks softly. "She could've peed."
Frowning, Camila looks at Lauren. "She doesn't smell."
"Camz, babies don't always smell when they pee." Lauren responds softly.
Addison releases a louder cry as she kicks her feet.
Camila rolled her eyes at the baby. She moved to change her diaper to see if it would shut her up for a while.
As soon as her diaper is changed, Addison's eyes flutter closed and she falls back asleep.
Camila sighed. "She's such a drama queen." She muttered to herself as she lay Addison in the crib.
"Why are you getting so mad at Addison lately?" Lauren asks softly, she didn't understand Camila's attitude toward the baby.
Camila turned her head to look at Lauren. "I'm tired. Work is stressing me out."
"Don't take it out on a baby," Lauren says softly.
Camila took a deep breath. "I know. I'm sorry."
"Lay down and get some rest." The older girl says softly, shifting Daxton in her arms. "Or spend time with your son."
"I'd like to spend time with you and our son." Camila said.
Daxton releases a soft coo, kicking his feet and smiling up at Lauren.
"I think he likes that idea." Lauren said, a smile crept onto her face. "I like that idea too."
Daxton begins cooing even more, his dimples appearing.
Lauren looked down at their son. "Look at that smile."
Camila looks down and can't help but smile. "He will be a heartbreaker with those eyes and that smile."
"Yeah. All the girls will fall for him." Lauren said. "I just hope he picks the right one and doesn't get hurt himself."
"I hope so too." Camila says softly.
