I slowly opened the door and there he was...My dad... He sat in his chair with his head leaning on his desk. He probably fell asleep from the exhaustion. I grabbed his coat from his chair and placed it on his back so it could serve like blanket. I looked at his monitor. He was working on chapter 7. I decided to read the first few chapters. So I shared the document with myself on Google Drive. I walked out of his office and went to the employee's lounge. There I found a coffee machine. I poured myself a cup of coffee and sat down on one of the couches. I grabbed my phone and opened my mailbox. I downloaded the document and began to read:

Once upon a time in a faraway land called Alfheim, there was an Elven king. He was an amazing king. His subjects adored him. His name was Heronimus. He was smart, charming and had a solution for every problem. There was only one problem the king couldn't solve. It was the war between the two realms. The kingdom was divided between the Hiems Realm and the Aestas Realm. The weather at Hiems was known to be always cold. And the weather at Aestas the opposite. You could say the realms were like the season Winter and Summer. Because they lived in different realms there were also different elves with different powers. The ice and stone elves lived in Hiems and the fire and nature elves lived in Aestas. Between the two realms was an enormous border. It was called 'No Elves' Land' If an elf died in No Elves' Land the other realm was not to blame. To the north was an undiscovered area with a lot forest and mountains. The main reason for this ongoing war was the fight between the two royal families of the realms. Years past and the king died peacefully in his sleep. After the death of Heronimus, the royal families reigned their realm on behalf of the Elven King. The Wisteria family reigned over Hiems and the Leafea family reigned over Aestas.

Time flew by. The story was so interesting. I read about the royal families and their feud, the animals and plants in Alfheim. I also read about the solution for the feud. They created a council that consisted of the kings and queens from the realms. The rest of the story revolves around Sierra, a princess of the Leafea family, who was expected to be the successor to the throne in Aestas. She's betrothed to a guy she has yet to meet. I took a sip from my coffee and continued to read. I had only read one third of what my dad had written. For a moment I looked up and look around the lounge. There were plants placed in the corners of the lounge. I was sitting on a couch near a window. I looked outside. The moon shone brightly in the dark blue sky. It was a full moon. I closed my eyes to enjoy the silence for a minute. When I opened my eyes I felt something grabbing my ankles. I looked closely and saw that it was... a tree root?!
