Where did that root come from? I didn't got a chance to find because before I knew it the root pulled my leg and swept me off my feet. I fell on my back and lost conscious. When I slowly came back to my senses I heard voices nearby.
"She's an..., I'm not sure what kind of Elf she is. Is she one of ours? We should let her die here," I hear a male voice saying in the distance.
"No, we cannot," an older male voice reacted. 'She is lying partly in our realm. So if she dies and she is from Hiems, the Ice elves are going to blame us."
"Okay, we'll take her to the Cura wing," the first male suggested.
I couldn't open my eyes. My eyelids felt so heavy. After those words I fell in a deep sleep.
I woke up to a female voice desperately screaming a name. "Ivy! Ivy! Please wake up!" opened my eyes and saw a girl sitting next to the bed where I was lying on. She had hazel hair and eyes as blue as the sea. The girl looked like a princess of nature. "Ivy, I'm so glad you are alive! You scared me to death! Never scare me like that again!" I noticed she had pointy ears and was wearing a dress made of colored leaves. "Am I at a cosplay convention or Comic Con or something ?" I thought to myself. I frowned.
"Ivy, did you hear what I just said?" she asked. I looked around. Who is this girl talking to? Who is Ivy? "Ivy," the girl said as she placed her hand on my shoulder. "Why were you at the border of Aestas? That's so far away from your home!"
Wait a second...Does this girl think I'm Ivy?! Did she just say Aestas?
"Did you just say Aestas?" I asked her. She nods. "Are we in Aestas?!" I asked with disbelief. She nods again. Let me get this straight. I'm in the story my father wrote... She thinks I'm the character Ivy...Does that mean I'm in her body?! Aaah!! Thinking about it is just so strange! How is that even possible?!Okay, calm down Ysabel. What do we know about Ivy. I had read it that Ivy is the cousin of queen Gwendolyn Wisteria who is currently the Queen of Hiems. Ivy had visited Aestas in the past with her family before the feud. Her family had flower suppliers in Aestas and she always came along. When Ivy was little she always visited the Goldy Flora market with her family. That's where Ivy and Sierra met. They have been best friends ever since even though she's an Ice Elf. They wrote to each other with their magical birds. But they hadn't seen each other for a very long time. It's not that every elf in Aestas hated the elf from Hiems. Some elves got a long. Not the majority right now of course. "Sierra? Is that you?"I hesitantly ask. "Yes, it's me! I haven't seen and spoken you for so long! You haven't changed a bit!" she said while she pinched my cheek. I feel so stupid and I'm so confused, because I don't know this girl. I only know what I've read about her.
"You look so down. I'm gonna ask if the chef can make you some mushroom soup to lift your spirits!" she told me as she left the room. I didn't even had time to respond before she left. So there I was all alone. I decided to leave the place. I waited a few minutes. Okay, she should be far away by now. I would love to stay longer, but I don't belong here and soon they are gonna notice that. I gotta leave. I got out of bed and looked at it. The bed looked really authentic and was made of hay. Then I realized I had no shoes on. So I looked under the bed and found some sandals. Coincidentally they were my size. I looked around. It looked like I was inside a huge tulip. Next to the bed stood a large long object that resembled a mirror. I looked into it and observed the movements of the reflection. I touched my face. It's really me inside someone else's body... I had raven black hair and dark purple eyes. Strange. I recall Ivy's hair being white and her eyes ocean blue. Ivy's skin was as white as snow. I wore a dark blue long skirt and a black off shoulder top. The outfit also looked quite unique. The fabric didn't look very soft, but felt like silky satin. I touched my ears and gasped. They were also pointy like Sierra's. I'm still processing this is really happening. Okay Ysabel, let's take a few breaths and get out of here. Panicking is no use right now. I opened what looked like a door and found myself in a corridor. There were three guards standing there. 'Lady Ivy, is there something wrong?' one guard asked. I quickly shook my head and answered: "There's nothing wrong! I just need to go to the toilet."
"The toi-let?' the other guard asked with confusion. Don't they know the word toilet? I guess their vocabulary is slightly different. "I need to powder my nose. Do you happen to know where I can relieve myself?" I tried again. The first guard answered: "Oh, I see. It's the left door at the end of the corridor." "Thank you!" I answered as I ran towards the end of the corridor. At the end of the corridor I found a red door on the other opposite of the bathroom. I quietly opened that door and there I saw other rooms. They were similarly shaped as the one I was in but slightly smaller and the walls were translucent. I quickly entered one of the rooms with a girl who resembled a nurse. I believe she was around my age. She was brewing something.
"Hi," I said. She immediately bowed in fear: 'La..lady Ivy, what are you doing in our humble Caduceus Wing. Aren't you supposed to rest?"
"You don't have to bow for me. Just call me Ivy," I said with a smile. She was confused but nodded. "I need a breath of fresh air. Do you happen to know where I can find the entrance?" I asked. She nodded again and told me to walk to the last room of the wing. There I would find another door. I had to go through that door and that would lead me to another corridor. After the corridor I would find some stairs and downstairs I would find the entrance. I followed her instructions and found the entrance. Luckily there weren't a lot guards around. When I stepped into the sunlight it almost blinded me. I held my hand above my eyes to cover the light. It was so bright and colorful outside! I saw a lot of flowers, trees and butterflies. It was just how my dad described the world. I saw one large path between the plants and decided to go that way. I had no clue how I got here. I decided to follow the path to find the border, because they had found me there. I hadn't been walking for two minutes, when I realized I was being followed.
