My head ached so much and I didn't know what to do. So I decided to make a run for it. No one expected it. I ran towards the exit and managed to get out. "Guards! Follow that servant girl!" I heard the queen shout. I ran as fast as I could. I entered a wooded forest and tripped and fell on my back. I tried to get up, but my body was too exhausted to move. I closed my eyes and dozed off.

"Ysabel, can you hear me?" I heard someone asking. I slowly opened my eyes and saw my father's worried face. "Hi, dad," I managed to say. I guess I'm back at the office again. "Where have you been?" he asked. "Your book," I managed to groan. My whole body hurt. It felt like my whole body was covered in bruises. "Sweetheart, do you understand me? Where have you been!" he said worriedly. I wanted to answer him, but slowly I could feel my eyelids become heavier. I blinked a few times and gradually lost conscious.

Gideon's POV

"The girl escaped, my queen!" a guard reported back. "What? How?" the queen raged.
"Where is the other guard?" my mom asked. "He entered the Forest of the Fallen," the guard answered.
"That's where we lost sight of her," "You lost sight of her? How could a little elf outrun two well trained guards?" I asked. The soldier looked down and answered: "My apologies, sir."
Forest of the Fallen is the area between No Elves' Land and and Aestas. It's called Forest of the Fallen, because we had lost a lot of soldiers there during the first war with Hiems. "I don't believe it. She disappeared right before my eyes!' the second soldier said when he arrived. "How is that possible?" the queen raged.
"There has never been an elf with that kind of ability." Something is different about that girl. I have to meet her again.
"Shall I gather a search party, your majesty?" I suggested. "Head out at dawn," the queen commanded. "That will be all then," the king announced. "Gideon, you and your mother can stay at the palace for now. You can use my soldiers and horses." I bowed and escorted my mother to our assigned rooms.
After I wished my mother good night, I went to my room. I laid on the bed and stared at the ceiling. Ivy. A beautiful girl with an unusual look. Will we meet again?

Ysabel's POV

I woke up to a sobbing sound. It was a child. I opened my eyes and looked around. I laid on a hospital bed. Next to my bed laid a girl. She was around 9 years old. When I looked at her she stopped crying and looked me in the eyes. "Can you take me to Elf Land?" she asked me. A nurse entered the room.
"Calm down, Ellie. It was all just a dream," the nurse said.
"But that woman can take me home," she said while pointing at me. I looked down and ignored the girl's claim.
"Let's go to Doctor Pan, Ellie. He will help you, okay," the nurse said as she took Ellie's hand and guided her to Doctor Pan. A few moments later another nurse came to check on me.
"How are you feeling?" the nurse asked.
"Better," I said.
"I'll get your father," she said.
"How long have I been out?" I asked when she came back. "Three days," she answered.
"Three days?" I asked with disbelief. Before I could ask more about my condition my father entered the room with relief.
"I was so worried. How could you sleep three days straight without any food?" my father asked. I shrugged. He gave me a kiss on my forehead and talked to the nurse. An half hour later I was discharged.
"Make sure you eat, drink and rest enough," the doctor said before I left.

At home I went to my old room and called my roommate. "Hi Ysabel! Are you alright? I was so worried about you!" I hear Eveline say on the other side of the line. "That's sweet, but I'm okay. Still a little bit tired. But is it okay if I stayed a few days at my parent's till I'm fully recovered?" I said. "Sure, I will come and bring some clothes over to you tomorrow!" she suggested. "You sure you have time? My dad can pick it up if you don't have time," I asked. "It's alright! I really missed you these couple of day, so I wanna see you. I'll see you tomorrow then!"she said. After we said goodbye I plopped down on my bed. I opened the draft I had been reading at the office and noticed there were more pages than before. I looked at the last page and read: 'Gideon laid on his bed and thought about the beautiful girl elf who took his breath away. "Ivy, will we meet again?" he wondered.' Wait, this wasn't in the original draft. I scrolled through the other added pages. 'Sierra was reunited again with her childhood friend.' another page said. Everything I experienced is written down here. Even the conversations and thoughts I had. But how is that even possible. What's is going on?
