"Oooh what are those?" I whispered to Skylar. Talking? Whatever it was Espark time and everyone hates Espark. Skylar had brought in some sort of snack. "Oh, cranberries." Skylar whispered back, holding one up. It looked like a cherry mixed with a raisen. "Could I try one?" I asked in a whisper. "Yeah sure." Skylar handed me a cranberry. I gotta say these were GREAT! "THISH ISH GREAAT!" I whisper-shouted, grabbing a hand full of them from the bag Skylar brought them in. "Hey, here we can spilt them." Skylar swatted my hand away, taking out a few cranberries from the bag and setting them on my desk. "There." Skylar held the bag in tightly in her hands as she watched the video Espark gave her.

I shoveled the cranberries into my mouth.

While Skylar was focused on her video, I quickly stuffed my hand in the bag of cranberries, startling Skylar. "Hey!" Skylar pulled the bag away, her back to me. "No more." Skylar glared, grabbing her IPad and keeping her back to me.

She Esparked like that the rest of the Espark time.

"I was thinking maybe we could hang out again. Crazy Ping Pong must have a winner after all." Skylar said as we sat down on the mound. "Yeah we'll see. I'll tell you over Discord." I replied, sitting on the mound.

Skylar and I had definitely came a long way over the course of only a few months. "Tomorrow we have the presentation for the science fair." Skylar reminded me. Shoot.. I hate talking infront of people. There were judges at the science fair, that's who graded your project.

No wonder I didn't want to do the science fair in the past...

"Oh yeah, you got the poster?"

"Yeah."

Looking over head, dark clouds rolled in. "Hey, does it look like it's raining over there..?" Skylar asked, pointing to the black-top. "Yeah, it does. But it's not raining here.." I squinted my eyes to see the rain on the black-top. "No it's raining in the field. See?" Skylar pointed to the wet grass around us. Looking up above our spot, it was clear of darkness. Odd... "Hey Skylar, isn't it odd that it's not raining where we are, but everywhere else it is?" I asked, looking around at the rain that fell on the outside area. "Not really. I don't see how it's weird." Skylar said.

We soon heard teachers blowing whistles. All the teachers were blowing their whistle. Around us it was pouring rain. Where we were sitting, no rain was hitting us. "Hey Megan we gotta go, c'mon." Skylar grabbed my wrist. Wincing in pain, I took in a sharp inhale and pulled away. "C'mon!" Skylar started running to the lines.

As I stood beside Skylar in the line, no rain ever hit us. Our classmates were surely drenched but we were mostly dry besides the run to the line.

"Okay, you guys can play on your IPads just keep the voices down to a normal level." Mr Smith said, taking his seat in his chair and began typing away on his computer. "Hey you know History Line? I think we can multiplayer on that!" I got out my IPad and opened the History Line app. "Oh yeah!" Skylar did the same.

"Skylar I need that peice! It's the last one for me!" I urged. At the top of my screen I could see a smaller image of Skylar's screen. On her screen (from the small image) it showed Skylar having a piece. "You have the piece I need!" Skylar said. "No I don't! I'm out of pieces on my side." I pointed to my screen as Skylar looked over. "Well so am I!" I looked to Skylar's screen. She wasn't lying. "Ugh let's start another round then..." I grumbled, leaving the game we were in.

"Why are there so many peopleeeee!" Skylar said, pointing to all the people in our group. Our server had 4 people in it (including myself). "I have no idea.. But let's start anyways!" I began the game (it was my server).

"Whose on the far right? They have all the pieces!" Skylar complained, pointing to the image of the far left screen on the top of her screen. "Yeah, it'd surely help if we knew who these people were." I sighed. Skylar looked around at the surrounding kids on IPads. "Look around Megan, maybe you'll be able to figure it out." Skylar motioned to the kids around the room. I looked at their IPad screens. All of them were on History Line. There were more than 4 people definitely! "Oh that's no help..." I muttered, passing one of my pieces to Skylar.

That game ended up glitching to since the far left guy wasn't giving any pieces.

"3rd time's a charm!" I cheered, starting another game with just Skylar and I.

"We're so close!" Skylar stated, passing me a piece. "Yeah, just gotta figure out where these go." I said, putting a piece into place.

Suddenly Skylar put her hands over her face.

"NOOOOOOOO!!!" Skylar shouted into her hands. "What?!" I asked with worry. "It kicked me out..." Skylar took her face out of her hands. "SERIOUSLY?! UGH IM DONE WITH THIS GAME!" I shouted, no caring if anyone heard. Taking my IPad, I slammed the screen cover back on and shoved my IPad into my desk. Skylar did the same, but in a more less violent way. "We almost fricking had it..." Skylar said, resting her head on the desk.

As the afternoon dismissed bell rang, Skyler and I walked out to the buses.

"Hey Skylar?"

"Hm?"

"You think we'll be this way forever?"

"Childish and raging at educational games? Yeah."

I laughed at her remark. "Ha, not that though..."

Skylar looked to me confused. "Then what do you mean? Cause I didn't risk breaking my IPad screen with a screen PROTECTOR." Skylar said, poking my arm.

"Friends, like... How close we are.." I said in a hushed voice. I wasn't showing weakness.

"Of course! Megan what kinda question is that?!" Skylar smiled, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"I just thought..."

Skylar cut me off.

"Megan, we're besties and nothing can change that."

I looked to Skylar, a confused, amused, and shocked look on my face all at once.

"Megan, we're besties for forever and nothing will ever change that, do you have the common sense to understand?" Skylar said.

Laughing, I shook my head yes. "Yeah, besties for forever...." I smiled, waving goodbye to Skylar as we parted ways to our buses.
