As we kept walking in the sewer I managed to finally walk by myself. Ellie seemed happy in some sort of way as we still held hands. I looked at ellie and spoke. "While we're walking and not too far behind Joel and Henry, I wanted to ask you something." Ellie  quickly blushed and looked down but nodded for me to go ahead. "When we were laying down. Are you sure you rolled over by acc-" I felt something push me to the side causing me and Ellie to let go of our hands. I saw Sam walk by with a smug and smiling in victory as he walked ahead. "Asshole.." I whispered as I wiped down the dirt on my shirt. Ellie done the same and we continued walking with Henry in front of us and Joel behind us.

Skipping to you guys getting out of the sewer after you got separated from Ellie and Henry and you and sam haven't been getting along at all. But y'all manage and get out of the sewers barley..
"Oh shit.. We made it!" I was out of breath and so was everyone else. As we were catching our breath Ellie walked up to the side of the wall. "Really? Thanks for the warning on the other side guys." I laughed a bit as what we been through gave me a adrenaline rush making me ready for anything. Joel said that we needed to keep moving so we could get to the radio tower before dark. "We'll catch up in a second!" Joel just nodded his head as Henry and Sam followed standing beside a car. "So Ellie.. Are you hurt?" I rested my hands on her shoulder as she smiled and put hers on mine. "Im fine. You should be worrying about you." I just shrugged my shoulders and gave a little smirk. "Remember when I tried asking you about something and we got interrupted." She nodded as a continue so I did.  "Well did you really roll over I'm purpose to make our lips touch orr?" Ellie blushed furiously and dragged me to the side of the building so Joel and them couldn't see. "Uhhh w-well I just well i-i didn't mean t--" I knew she was lying so I took advantage of the moment. I leaned in before she could finish and kissed her with passion. It shocked Ellie but she kissed back after a few seconds. We held the kiss for a couple of minutes before breaking away by our lungs burning and begging for air. I looked in her eyes as she did the same. "Ellie I don't know how to really put it in words but I like you. Well not like I lov-" it was Ellies turn to cut me off with a long kiss to silence me. "I love you (y/n). We've been close for months and I want to spend pretty much every day with you."  I smiled/blushed as I hugged her tight and kissed her forehead. "So do you maybe wanna be my girlfriend?" Ellie looked up really fast with light in her eyes. "YES! But we should keep it secret for now I don't Joel and the guys knowing yet" I nodded and hugged her tight smiling at the girl I found out loved me too. "I love you ellie." We walked back to the car holding hands like we always do but to us this time was different, we are lovers.
