The car was silent.. Ellies feet on my lap as she was laying down reading comics she grabbed of her own as I was doing the same. "Oh man!" Joel looked in the back mirror "Hey what happened to sleeping you two?" Ellie sat up holding the comic. " Okay it may not seem like it but this here isn't a bad read only one problem... to be continued.. I hate cliffhangers." She pointed at the comic in her hand but I continued to stare at her the moment we had before we left bills was still stuck on my mind. "Where did you get that?" Ellie looked at Joel.. "uhhh back at bills. I mean all this stuff was just lying there." Joel sighed "What else did you get?" Ellie looked over to me asking if she could grab my bag "here (y/n) got this does this make you all nostalgic?" Joel laughed a bit and looked at me nodding his head as he took the tape. "You know this is actually before my time.. it is a winner though." He put in the tape and it played some really old country music. "Well it's better then nothing." Ellie sat back but went back to her bag. 'She grabbed something else?' "Oh I'm sure your friend will be missing this tonight." Joel just mumbled a "mhmm" but I seen what she pulled out.. my eyes widened.. "it's light on the reading but it has some interesting photos." Joel quickly looked back when he heard her statement "Ellie that isn't for kids." She had the gay magazine I found at bills and walked away because it was really nasty. She opened it up "Oh god Ellie my eyes!!eww.." I wanted to look away but I was interested on what else was In it. "H-how the hell would you even walk around with that thing!?" Ellie busted out laughing and so did i  "Ellie! (Y/n)! Get rid of that!" Ellie laughed and I giggled "hold up I wanna see what all the fuss is about." She looked at the page "Oh why are all of these pages stuck together?" I almost puked when she said that so I scooted away and looked down. "Uhh.." Joel looked like he didn't want to answer her question and to be honest neither did I. "I'm just fucking with you two.. bye bye dude!" She threw the magazine out the window and scooted close to me resting her head on my shoulder. I blushed tomato red.. " You two should get some sleep." Ellie just looked at Joel then me and smiled "pshhh we are not even tired."

I wake up and yawn and look to my right to see Ellie breathing slowly passed out on my shoulder. "Oh man that was a good sleep." I look at Joel who was focused driving so I just looked out the window. I felt Ellie grip my shirt a bit so I looked down to see her staring up at me. "You weren't tired huh?" I laugh at Ellie who sat up a bit rubbing her eyes and yawning a bit. "You passed out too dork." She poked my cheek and also laughed. I stared at Ellie for a bit. I always wonder what she's thinking about I've known her for almost 2 months now and I can't help but think about her every single minute of the day. "(Y/n)? You okay?" I snapped back into reality and nodded while putting my head on Ellies shoulder. Joel suddenly stopped the car. "Uhh why did we stop?" I looked up at Joel who looked behind us then forward to the dozen of cars in front of us. "Screw it." Joel put the car in drive and went off the interstate into the city. We kept driving a little bit until Joel slammed in the breaks. "Hey what the hell! Easy!" We looked in front of us to see a guy limping begging for help. "Are we gonna help him?" Ellie looked at Joel wanting an answer. "Girls put your seatbelts on." We did as Joel did but we asked him once more if we were gonna help the dude. "He ain't even hurt." Joel started driving really fast and the dude that was "hurt" pulled out a gun and started shooting at us as a bunch more dudes popped out of no where and also started shooting but it barley missed us. "Joel look out!!" Ellie was screaming at Joel as I looked over to see a bus rolling down the hill as it crashed into us making us also crash in a abandoned store..
